God saved you by his grace when you believed.
And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

2013 Holiday in Vienna, one of the tallest tree I have seen and could not get to the top
Advent: The coming of Jesus to the world.
As we prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas.

Today, I am inspired as I read my Advent devotional
based on Psalm 130:1-8

The Hope we rely on: What do I hope for? or
Who do I put my hope in?
God's Character:

As I get get to know You Lord
The more hope I have
In the beginning You created the world

You are the God that brings life to everything
You gave life to us and a promise
We broke that promise of a life together

Why? Because we wanted to be god’s
Not knowing we are already made like You
Created like You
Yet still, You never gave up on us

In this season of pain and suffering
In this season of lessons
In this season of doubts
In this season of fear and anxiety

The season of December is different
Because we remember why we have that hope and
Why it is different to the world's hope
Not a hope to cross my finger
The hope that no one can gives

The hope that allows us to remember
The real meaning of Christmas
We will celebrate it

Christ came to save the world
To give hope to all
To show us what it means to get closer to You Father
To show us that You keep no records of sin

If you did, who could stand?
With You we are forgiven and that makes You so wonderful
We understand that You are not man to hold a grudge
We can serve You with reverence

So as December starts
I am counting on the Lord
Yes I am counting on the Lord
I have put my hope in His Word

I will keep hoping
I will keep trusting
I will wait on the Lord

Yes as we wait for the vaccine to come
I will keep praying and
I will wait on Him
For His unfailing love never ends

What the enemy taught for evil
You Lord have turned it for good for everyone
We will wait on You Lord as You work
We will praise You
We will glorify Your Name.

In Christ Jesus,Amen.

Have a wonderful day.
Thank You for stopping by.

Inspired by the Ragtag Daily prompt

The Lord Jesus will remain forever
His throne from generation to generation
The circle of love is full of everything that life briings

May the light in you shine bright always
May the Name of our God be glorify
Have a restful weekend
In the Name of Jesus
