A little story about a girl and boy!

Kids are so funny and innocent
Walking behind these two kids boy and girl 
And their mothers right with them

The kids decided to race one other 
The boy won and the girl 
burst out crying for losing

I taught it was funny, so I slowed my walking
The joy of no headphone
You notice everything around you...

Back to the mum... 
Then the girl's mum called her to the side
Honey in life we don’t have to win all the time
And when you lose you don’t have to cry..
Understand? Yes mummy

Now be a good girl and go play
So what did this girl do...
She was determined to try and win
Very brave little girl left the mum and 
Called the friend to race again 

Not giving the friend a chance to win 
Running off before the boy had a chance to say yes 
She was screaming I won, I won...
The boy didn’t seem to care much for running again

So when he got close to her ...
They were best friends again
Playing and laughing and not a
Thought of what had just happened

That made me smile and forget about
Work and everything else. 
I should be more childlike
Free and throw a tantrum now again

Thank you Father for the gift of children 
O Lord I will Praise You
You are Worthy, O Lord 
To receive Glory and Honour and Power
For You have created all things
And by Your will they exist 
and were created
Through Christ Jesus we can come to you
Amen
