But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 TPT
It takes courage to look for a treasure
As I was looking into my treasures today, look what came about
Courage wow COURAGE it takes courage to even type this. We all have courage, if you get out of bed everyday that takes courage to face the day for no one knows what lies ahead of them.
Courage is not the absence of fear BUT the commitment to overcome it
Courage is required in our everyday life and must be constant
Courage is also tiny pieces of fear glued together
Tips below to help take the leap of faith into your next adventure:
Setting a standard that is scary
Going to University was scary for me,
but I sat down and applied and got in.
Was the journey easy? No it was not.
I had to study when it was the right time
I was also trying to fit in with others.
My last year was a disaster,
I forgot my purpose of going to university so I failed
Yes I failed, one subject and I could not get my degree.
Did I walk away? No, it took courage to sit down
and get the Physic degree I wanted.
It also took courage to get a job not related to what I studied.
In this journey not only did I learn to be courageous
but I also learned to be humbled.
I did not have any experience so I asked and sat and listen
One of many treasures that I hold to heart is
we serve a big GOD, so setting a goal that is
unattainable is what He specialises in.
If I can attain it then it is not courage
but if I go for something that is scary and makes me think:
Think about it, I walk away, I come back,
I walk away again, and I come back again and
I think to myself, oh no I can’t do this,
then it is worth doing it Innovation reward:
Rewards help with the growth and as
humans having an incentive makes us want
to set another mountain to climb.
Rewards helps us climb the mountain
BUT we should not do things for rewards:
So what do I mean by Innovation rewards?
Taking part in the workplace, church group,
university and anywhere with small groups
It gives a sense of purpose in life
It also gives motivation to be part of the team
The key is getting involved where we find ourselves
In any group it is always good to contribute
By giving ideas:
no idea is stupid,
if you have thought about it then
the chances are someone else has and
it just happens that you have the courage to speak up
Secondly, also getting a qualification or
studying more into the topic areas is very good for the brain
Finding ways to improve the mind is a reward
Pursue the right opportunities
Not every risk is a good one, sometimes it is good to say no
Learning to say no is the wisdom we need for life.
You can never please everyone, if you try you end up pleasing no one.
If it is too good to be true then it is - one of the easiest clues.
Opportunities will come, see the wisdom to choose the right one.
Learning to delegate:
It takes courage to let go and relinquish control
Not every job has to be done by you
Having the wisdom to know when to loose the string
and trusting others to complete the task at hand takes a huge courage
especially if you are someone who wants to be in control all the time.
It is not easy but holding the string and letting it go
very slowly will eventually become naturally to let the string go
This is something I am still getting the grips off
The string is still in my hand
Because we sometimes put so much pressure on ourselves
for the illusion of perfection.
When nothing is perfect, we work not for perfection but for progress.
What is the one thing you have put to one side?
For tomorrow, tomorrow never comes
So no time like the present to face the giant
It takes strength and courage to
Sling throw a stone at a giant
