Your kingdom is everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all he does. Psalm 145:13 NIVUK
Glory to God in the Highest, for another week. The week that leads to the death and resurrection of Christ.
Hi and welcome, as next week is Easter Monday I will take a break and celebrate so Happy EASTER in advance. Have some chocolate 🙂
This week is a week to walk and reflect on the things that lead to the resurrection of our Lord, without which we are not Christians. Let us step into the outside world and show that the Lord our God is indeed the Vine and Our Father is the Vinedresser and what an amazing thing to be called a friend of God, a son, a daughter and to be chosen. I think it is amazing and wonderful news that cannot be kept to myself.
So today, I invite you to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, see the trees as they blossom, flowers bud, the birds sing and children play outside. Imagine it!
For it was all created and planned by God before the world was made and in that I look and think of life, without preparation we wander aimlessly. Today is about our HEART:
Preparation – “Pursue the Passion” of Christ that leads to Easter. Walk with Him this week, see Him. Embrace Him and Love Him more for He is worth it. See yourself through God’s eyes.
What is your passion?
Whatever our passions is, Knowing our purpose will help us live with integrity
To achieve anything you need to know WHY?
Why must you do anything you do?
Whether your goal is, if it is to read a book a week, a day or month? Get in shape? Get to work on time? Log on from home on time and finish on time? Go out for a walk daily? Switch off so you can spend time with family. These are all achievements. How do you do this?
All our goals need to fit with our emotions and that is our heart.
The heart of God was to save us all and bring us to His kingdom, giving Him all the glory He rightly deserved and in that He prepared the way for Jesus before He was born. The word becomes flesh and dwells among us.
The will of God should be aligned with our heart posture: Create in me a clean heart O’God and renew a right spirit within me
The challenge for many of us is that this process is not a logical process with our heads, and our hands and feet but a HEART process
A HEART that needs to be healthy:
Healthy: the goals that we sometimes set can be unrealistic. Setting any goal should always be realistic and contribute to mental, physical and emotional health.
There will be obstacles and oppositions, but when I fall I should be able to pick myself up and keep going for the God of all Grace through Christ will Himself restore me. 1 Peter 5:10
A HEART that endures and persevere: As you pursue, your goals and why’s this should inspire and sustain you to continue. Perseverance should not be self-driven but must be God-driven for in the pursuit of self, as humans we lose heart and find ourselves broken unable to continue. In following Christ it is not easy but totally worth it, and that can mean flexible and flowing with God because sometimes, His ways are definitely not ours and He will nudge in the direction that is totally different
A HEART that is alluring and be ready to participate: You shouldn’t have to push yourself to work on your goals. It should be automatically exciting, enticing and engaging.
Participation allows us to get over ourselves when helping others, sometimes we are pressed in to help others and sometimes it happens willing.
It is an option to step into what we are called to do, be ready for many are the plans in a person’s heart but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Other times, be willing to receive for when we let others participate in our lives it does help them grow.
Lastly DO NOT let fear of failure keep you from participating. “ For failure is a stepping stone into the right direction”
A HEART that is relevant and people: Set the goal that is relevant to you and your core value. Never set any goal without knowing why?People are the core of why Christ came for He died for ALL people, EVERYONE!
God calls us to Love ALL people. Forgive others and do not judge them and to forgive yourself. For we are all redeemed through Christ once and for all
A HEART that follows the truth and prays: The truth will set you free, never set a goal because your neighbor (figuratively) is doing it, make sure it is something you want and remains true to you. If not you are more likely to procrastinate and sabotage yourself. So be present, pray and listen for two people cannot speak at the same time, for one will listen and the other speaks.
Praise God, be thankful for it builds character and be humble.

Thank you for stopping by Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂 And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week: 'However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. ' Acts 20:24 NIV
