“Walking into the unknown”

Now after John was put in prision, Jesus came to Galilee,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent and believe in the gospel."

Mark 1:14-16 NKJV

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different.

The story continues…

Cassa laughed. She sure has grown up in the last four years, when she was captured. Today was her eighteen birthday and no one to celebrate with, muttering a curse to herself as she began to walk away. She wanted to be free. What else would he ask of her? She grimaced at the prospect of spending the rest of life as a thief. All she wanted was a family, and now she was stuck with him.

She will sleep well tonight and start the task tomorrow. Too tired to think and no energy as her stomach grumbled. It has been days of no food, underground was becoming a norm. No need, she can think of food tomorrow. Today she is very tired to think of anything.

She quiets her mind as Aniya had taught her to, with eyes closed as she drifts off. It was not easy, her body was in need of food and she was not surprised to find herself in front of this buffet. As her whole mind moved into the buffet to choose from the delicacy.

Too focused on the food, a voice came from the side. Don’t you ever eat?

You know very well that I have not eaten.  Getting annoyed at the interruption but taken aback as the voice was kind and inviting. Please eat as much as you can, you will need your strength tomorrow. A lot to do and it will be the whole day, he continued.

I want you to create two weapons, the same and one for yourself and one to give Athan. You will need it and make sure they are identical and counter each other. Will you do it?

As she slowed her breathing, everyone wanted something in return. She can’t even have peace in eating and someone comes and demands something of her.

Before she could say a word, Happy Birthday! Hmm thank you as he handed her a little box. Curious, all common sense went out the window, with trembling hands. Noone has ever given her a gift. She was surprised to find a silver bracelet.

Eat and you don’t have to create them, you have a choice.

As tears dropped, looking closely at the bracelet. It was engraved with her name and a shield and eagle on the opposite side.

Taking the bracelet and placing it on her right wrist. This will protect you when the time is right. He continued.

Why are you kind to me?

You never need a reason to be kind. And I want to insite that you finish the lovely dinner prepared for you.

She ate and drank as he continued. Was this a real or a dream?

The man’s gaze was direct and something in the eyes told her it was not a dream. Is this to do with the other two women today? She said

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂
