'Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we are his — his people, the sheep of his pasture. ' Psalms 100:3 CSB
Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by.
Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me?… I have enjoyed EURO football and most of all England won, amazing. I have promised myself not to cause myself a heart attack but enjoy the wins. To be honest it is hard because we can’t help it but be very joyful and over the top. Also hopeful.
My highlight for the weekend was church service: we had two amazing ladies that got baptised. What an amazing journey for both and a privilege to be part of this journey.
The long journey has started and is still going on for all of us as we walk towards the throne room.
To hear the words my good and faithful servant
As we continue the long journey which is a marathon. I have come to know that sometimes we slow down but never forget to listen to the Lord as He guides our footsteps.
Sometimes the speed starts and I have come to know that we start to accelerate and the wind and gravity takes me to the bottom as The waves come and crash but one thing is the focus. Be still and know that I am God What an amazing assurance in the walk or run with our Lord
As I continue to watch the football and see how you need to be in a team to score the goal at the end.
You need someone defending the goal You need a midfielder to create the chances to score You need to have a striker to score the goal You need to have a leader Also we do get knock back but at the end of the day It is who wins that matters The team that plays together wins The team that focus and score the goal wins therefore we make it our aim Whether present or absent To be well pleasing to Him Because sometimes we rush ahead before the right time ALONE That causes a loss of focus It also makes us vulnerable to attack alone Isolating at the front And one thing to do is slow down
As in 1 Corinthians 5: 10-11
It is astounded to know that at the end we will need to give an account
Good or bad all will appear before the judgement seat of Christ
Whatever role we play
As we are coming to the end of the football matches and grand final on Sunday 11 July
Can’t get ahead of myself but wait and see who gets to the final
So I walk into the open doors I gaze at the beauty of the Father I sit in the presence of the Lord Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come! Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever
Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me. Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂 We cannot control what happens around us, but we can control our responses. Be bless and know that the Lord loves you ©Hannah M Vandi. And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week: 'However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. ' Acts 20:24 NIV
