The Lord Lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let God be exalted,
The Rock of my Salvation!

2 Samuel 22:47 NKJV

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by.

Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me?…

It was a mixture of joy and tears.

Joy I was camping with our church kids. Wow, it was so much fun. Playing games, I thought I would get away from it but to encourage the ones that were a little scared. Our theme was TRUST

Who do we trust?
As the children rely on each other, they fall
As they rely on the adult
Comes disappoint
But who can they and should always trust!

We all need to trust God
Friends, family are good to trust BUT
God is the One and ultimate ONE that deserves it

It was a raining and wet day to camp,
Very muddy and the showers of blessing came
But as the night came
The Lord showed us mercy
For the rain stopped

The night owl howl and the birds sings
And above all was the absence of human light
The light from above lets us see in the dark
For the Lord is our lamp
He enlightens our darkness

For by him, we can walk in the dark
For by my God I can get up even when I fall
As for God, His way is perfect
His word is proven
He is a shield to all who trust in Him

So I came home in the evening ready to watch the final Italy v England

Well, I was hopeful but not completely trusting
Well it was very befitting to our theme
Who do you put your trust in?

For many trusted that the team will win
For many put all hope in a team
For many forgot, it is not all about us

The others had a hope of winning too
The others came with a hope to win
The others came with a fight to not give up
And in the end the better team won

I have come to NOT like these words

“It's coming home”
It never seems to come home
It seems so near but yet so far away

Yet the heart began to hope
The eyes watched
The ears listened

The mouth speaks the dreadful words
The words that should not be uttered
Oh the disappointed

The cruelty of penalties
The end of the game
Well we can all get back to our lives

It was not meant to be but
The Lord is my ROCK which was, is and will always be
The Lord our God is our Salvation

Thank you for stopping by it means a lot to me.

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV
