Walking into the unknown

'Life’s a corkscrew that can’t be straightened,
A minus that won’t add up.'

Ecclesiastes 1:15 MSG
Tonbridge

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different.

The story continues…

A soft mattress meant a bed, a bed means sleep… one can dream for this was the only truth that she has come to appreciate. Cassa opened her eyes and groaned, remembering where she was.

The delicious meal last night, the agreement with the stranger and now the betrayal. She was instantly awake, her mind going straight ahead to what she needs to do. What will happen soon?

Who was she to trust.. A strange man who seems to not make promises or Athan who will always have something to work on.

If she obeys the stranger —– then would she finally have the freedom —- could she achieve it alone without these two.

“Freedom was in the hands like a smoke and letting go seems easy, holding onto it is impossible.”

She moved with ease out of the room and walked right into him. What was he doing here? And who are you? So many questions, little time for answers..

As she walked in the dark, a path she was very much accustomed to. It was a sanctuary of peace as she walked in the dark for her eyes had become customary to the darkness.

I wonder how he reports back to Athan, no surprise I have a bodyguard to watch my every move. How foolish to think it will be an easy task? This will require some deception and thoughts. Both she was now good at, well one must not boost at the achievement of deception. For deception is trickery and can deceive the decepter.

Smiling, as he stumbled knocking everything in his path. That will give me a head start, picking up the pace. Only to come against two more outside the cave.

He is definitely becoming paranoid in his old age and too cautious.

She nodded and watched as they opened the makeshift door. Stepping into the room as the door closed behind her. She moved into the room, on the table was the instruction laid out. Though it was quiet and dark with light coming from the far end, something was not right.

Holding the instruction, she moved closer to the stove as the heat was burning high. A small thump that might be missed drew her attention back to the room.

Athan moved to the center and filled the room… What is he doing here this morning? Maybe he knows…. One has to stop speculating and thinking ahead but listen first.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂
