Walking into the unknown

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy
And to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8 NKJV

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

Stepping back as he walked to the door, now he knew that she was hiding something but what? That was the real question. She has all she needs to create the weapon and he has the manpower to keep an eye on her.

Looking back at the first time she was kidnapped, she has definitely grown on him and indeed proved to be more valuable than any of the others. If she wants an escape, he needs to do what has to be done to protect his asset.

Getting to the door, he reaches his mind out and begins to wander off into old and familiar circles. He didn’t mind that, he had agreed to never mixed business and pleasure.

The gods had won him to not get involved with the women. They seem to be his downfall, and all have the same emotions as he did. He had let his emotions get the better of him. He had been immortal before, and now fallen due to his lack of self control and power to dominate and control the world. He was just as vulnerable as all of them. He can now die and burn and feel emotions and love which seems to him the worst curse of all.

It is so strange that love seems cruel of all, she doesn’t seem to know the effect and power she has more than Amiya. She is now a daughter and a friend taking care of her since she was a child had grown in him. She will certainly be the death of him and that seems to not bother him.

He closed his eyes and sent out a mental call to her to check that he can still communicate with her.

Cassa, as she answered. Apprehensive at first and scared. We are good, he added. It’s a bit late to be making friends now.

Everything is moving so fast, she continued..,

Oh? What do you mean?

Things are just happening and I can’t seem to think quickly or keep up with it. You know my feet just touched the water and now I am swimming, well more like drowning. Keeping with her was more than he could do and not laugh at the same time.

For the first time he appreciated her honesty in the mental world. He looked at her playing with her fingers, head down and…

You are right! He heard himself speak before he could think. What has gone into him?

Things are moving fast, to tell you the truth I have to do something or else I will lose all that I have worked for and that includes you.

What has gotten into him? He could sense her dropping the guards down a little. In this place both can’t hide much, all they can do is walk away and knowing that it was possible his only chance to let her be on his side was worth the risk and he had to try.

Athan cursed.

Sorry but Cassa wins this time. Letting his guard down.

I better leave you to it and I do trust you.

Then I better get on with it, I have a long journey to complete, the sword is not going to make itself. Better start now. Cassa added as she cut the link.

Do you need more time, he shouted out.

Yes I do need extra two days and also no guards or any watch dogs around too.

Fine, done. I will speak to you tomorrow evening, Athan added. Closing the door and taking his men with him. Well this is the stupidest thing I have done as he walked away leaving her knowing that she will kill him.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂

All pictures are mine, with a touch of editing app adding
