Prayer

' So pray this way:

Our Father in heaven, may Your name be honored,
may Your kingdom come, may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts,
as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

“For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.'

Matthew 6:9-15 NET
I love how bold this squirrel was, we are called to come to the Lord in boldness. To be bold, you need that relationship.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble
May He send help from the sanctuary

The word of the Lord is perfect
Converting the soul, giving testimony is sure
Making wise the simple

So I say to my soul let us sit and pray
Let us come before the Lord
Humble and blameless, for the fear of the Lord is clean

When you pray don’t be like the the hypocrite, my soul
So this week like the disciples and everyone
I started to think about prayer

So I reflect and meditate and listen
For I have talk too much and just want
My mouth and mind to stop talking

My soul was quiet as I sit at the feet of Jesus
The revelation of Matthew six right to the of seven
This two chapters came as flash

The webs starts moving from the start
Giving me a picture of what it means to pray
Just like a tree that branches out
Do good to please God

Oh dear, Yes do good not for men
I cannot pray because I want to please men
Praying is about pleasing God
Prayer is a good thing to God
Praying is a conversation

We are call to be an intercessors,
we are not called to be a hypocrite
But in the quiet of my heart
I can pray if I see something wrong
I can speak the truth in Love

I do not need to repeat my words
For the Lord, my God knows what I am asking for
His Will, will be done on earth as it is in Heaven

He is my provider and forgives and gives us salvation,
now who am I to not forgive a brother or sister
Yes temptation will come, Lord lead me not into one

For when my brother or sister sin against me
Let me be quick to forgive and show mercy
For I want to store all my treasures in Heaven

The treasures that will never rust
For where my treasure is, there is my heart
And if it means to take my eyes and ears away from the screen
Then let Your will be done
For life can only have one master
And that Master can only be You

All things of the world will perish and bring worry
To the soul, for I look at the birds and my plants
And you bring life to them
You give them food, if You can do that then how much more us
So I will let go of the things of the world and seek You

I will not be the judge of the world
For all have sinned and fallen short of Your Glory Lord
And so the words hypocrite comes to mind again

As I walk through the valley of the shadows of death
Help me to be Holy and let me see what You want me to see
What is man that You give us blank cheque

A cheque that never bounces back
I will ask and keep on asking because You answer
I will seek because I know I will find You
I will knock because You will open

No matter how narrow the way to life is
I will follow You
I will test all that comes my way
For many will come in sheep clothing
To steal, kill and destroy the fruits of life

For in You our rock is built
The rain will descend, the floods will come, the winds will blow
But the house will always stand
For You are my foundation.

Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us
And establish the work of our hands for us
He is our rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him
Amen
