Walking into the unknown

'And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. '

Deuteronomy 10:12

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

He shook with anger as he sinks into the dark emotion and he found that he could not be bothered with it right now. Letting the cloud over his mind as he moved closer to Kaih.

Kaih could see the dark waves around Athan as he got closer, his hands shook. Getting the location was proving to be difficult with him so close.

When he finally got to see them…. This doesn’t look right at all, he thought. They were interested in his past and what they could possibly gain by going into his home town. Alarmed bells, at the implications. They could know a little about him and bring justice to the world.

Kaih?

Looking down to see them enter the rooms.

Yes? What is it? He asked.

Did you find out anything? I need to get going if not and I will have to also get Cassa as a shield, he taught. He knew something was not right but could not be sure. He had been here before, and he wanted to avoid getting killed before completing the mission.

As Cassa finished both daggers, she needed to get out or fight. Was it too late, she was now in the deepest pool. Looking back, if they were right then the option was not running off wondering or sinking deep into the pool. She needs to stand and fight, but can she?

The chances are he will find her or they will and the choice will be taken away, meaning they made a choice and as she waded back to reality Athan was standing in front deep in thought and in darkness. It was time to make a choice.

Is it complete? Athan moved closer, cautious than usual.

She could tell he was wrestling with trusting her and took the dagger and handed it over.

Athen looked it over it was surprisingly very heavy and he saw the red gems glowed in his hands.

Is it …… ah! He drew his hand away

Yes, a gift, Cassa explained

Are you in a hurry to do anything else? As he regarded her.

No! As she continued to put everything away, slipping her dagger in to avoid being seen.

I need you to follow me, we are going on a trip. Once they get there he will have to make sure that she stays close, Athan taught.

You don’t look pleased to hear it, he observed.

Cassa looked at Athan, then shook her head. ‘No.’

Why not?

I…. I don’t want to part of any more killing

Athan looked puzzled. You think that is what we are going to do.

‘Yes’…

Is this a bad thing? Athan asked, shrugging. You cannot be protected by anyone but me. You are safer with me and than when we are apart. This is what we always do together.

As he continued with words… They invaded us and brought the storm with them. None of this will have happened.

Ah, you’ve right. Lost in thought, they made the wind blow in the wrong direction. Memories of the crushing of the storm into the land as Athen tried to stop it. But that was a version that was not true. Athan carried the storm everywhere he went. This was a way to protect himself, caution will be needed going to this battle field. She needs to be armed and ready for anything.

Should we go now… surely this was about wars of sword and gaining strength. She wanted no part of it.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂
