Walking into the unknown

'The Lord is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low, he saved me. '

Psalms 116:5-6
Bermondsey, London

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

The wind echoed in the distance, he had decided to make the attack. Something he never planned for, or at any rate planned well. The sound was deafening, looking at all three.

I think it’s time you move on.

Athen lifted an eyebrow as Nwe drew closer, making sure that his words echoed into the night.

I came out to have the sword and to take control of this world. This killing is hardly my cup of tea, and to tell you the truth it would have happened later.

But don’t worry, I will make sure the same fate meets you.

Moving closer he removed the dagger as the shield surrounded them.

Nwe moved in closer trying to close the gap to get to him, and the world was dark and she could smell dead as the gap closed in. coming up from below, cassa tore at his shoulder, Fulrose at his side and then there was nothing.

Nwe could see dimly in the dark and Fulrose was lying, taking her few breaths. Blinking hard, she reached out and found her hands. She took her last breath and disappeared.

Holding on to the dagger she staggered almost fell but still had her balance.

The war was still going on, he had vanished and Fulrose was now dead. Cassa was worn out and almost collapsed back on the floor, as she caught her. The shield had cost a lot of energy.

All right, he will die first, as she wanted, her mind said, refusing to allow pain.

A shadow came over them, and Cassa ducked as his arms reached out missing. Nwe reached over her head and pierced the sword and it hit him somewhere. Then there was a movement as he regained his energy, panting and reaching out but could not grasp anything.

Athen moved blindly as they danced around, blood trickling down his side as they danced. The sound of  wind echoed into the night as death stood watch. She tore at his shoulder, his side and then Cassa moved closer and pierced his back.

Then there was nothing at all…

Dropping the sword as the light shined, she realised Athen was down, was dead and there was no more dance to be done.

She almost collapsed on the floor as Cassa caught her.

Hell is loose now, let us get out of here

All right, Nwe thought if this is the way it should be then let us

The adventure will continue next year into another unknown…. Happy Holidays and hope you enjoy the season with your family

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂

All pictures are mine, with a touch of editing app adding
