'Once more Pilate went out and said to the Jewish officials, “I will bring him out once more so that you know that I’ve found nothing wrong with him.” So when Jesus emerged, bleeding , wearing the purple robe and the crown of thorns on his head, Pilate said to them, “Look at him! Here is your man!” ' John 19:4-5 TPT
Here is your man – So this week I got to John 19. The Lord never stops to amaze me and as I stepped into the shadows
The pain, the darkness. One could not help but see the heart of men
For they honour the Lord with their lips yet their heart is far from Him
Memoires, of how wicked and forgetful we can be.
Stepping in closer to look at John
I Love the Lord my God Oh the irony of life His identity is questioned. Behold the man Yes let us look at the man Let us see the perfect Man Let us look at the Man who is what human should be Many rulers, kings have fought They have shed innocent blood For the crown of their glory But this crown was His blood His sweat and for the freedom of His chosen Many have been killed to establish a kingdom But this Kingdom The Lord faced humiliation He bears the pain He faced death He is perfect in all things He is blameless and He doesn’t need to answer to anyone He is a man of wisdom For in Him I have freedom on earth as It is in Heaven God has the Power It is in Jesus Christ our Lord that we are saved
