The Journey begins

'I will rejoice greatly in the Lord ,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has covered me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom puts on a turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. '

Isaiah 61:10 AMP
Ah, Lord God! You made the heavens and earth
By Your great power and outstretched arm
There is nothing too hard for You

You show Your lovingkindness to thousands
And repay the iniquity of the fathers to their children after them
The Great, the Mighty God whose name is the Lord of Hosts

So I was lead to start reading Judges
At the start of this new adventure I can see
The walk that leads to darkness
Our God that shows mercy and Love

After Joshua died, the path was with no leader
How will Israel walk?
Will they conform to the
people around them
A pattern starts emerge

This is an exciting journey
As I read and meditate one cannot help
But look at how it is no different to now
Our behaviours and how we see the world
Is it any different, do we seek God first always
Do we compromise when we shouldn’t
So many questions
As I look into the space of surrounding
In the heart that holds all things
Everything is meaningless

For God sees our secret sins
And the cries of the innocent
He punishes the wicked
He leads us to victory
when we obey and seek Him

There is always a pattern
For God loves us so much
He shows us His love through Jesus Christ
He is faithful and abundance in Grace

My soul let us not forget
That He the Lord our God
Who not only choose us but
My soul, He has anointed
us to preach the good news

Ah, what a privilege to be a child of the King
Let us boast only in the Lord our God
