What does it mean to be a daughter?

For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him
That is why it is through Him that we utter our Amen to
God for His glory

2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV
Freetown, Sierra Leone
It is God that establishes us with Christ Jesus
And it is God that anoints us
And it is God that puts a seal on us
And He has given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee

As I enter into the presence of the Lord
I find freedom and as study, praise or worship
I enter into the Joy of our Lord

So my journey continues,
As I read Judges, one cannot help but
looks at Caleb and His daughter
Looking at the daughter brings joy to my heart

The joy that the Father has for all His children as
We come to Him with boldness and expectancy

So Caleb looked at his daughter and asked
“What do you wish?”

The odds are stacked against us
But coming to the Father with an expectancy
Changes the odds in our favour

The Name of Jesus is our Yes
And so through Him the Amen is spoken
By us to the glory of God

And so, Achsah courageous in her times
Humbled, eager and expectant
Give me blessings
Give me springs of water

And as I looked one cannot help
But look at Jesus, ask and it will be given to you
Lord, send Your Holy Spirit in my life
That Your Name will be glorified

So Achsah got more than she asked for
For the Lord our God, is a God of abundant
Caleeb gives a picture of our generous Father
As Caleeb was not critical of her asking
Or questioning of why she needed gifts
And so we are called to come boldly to the Father
Through Christ the Yes is already done
And all we need is an Amen

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day and a weekend
God bless.
For in the multitude of dreams
and many words there is also vanity.
But fear God.
Ecclesiastes 5:7
