Happy Friday!
As the journey in Judges continues 

How many times do we see the battle? 
It is won, yet we sit in with enemies 

One cannot help but see a pattern forming 
The battle is won and all we need is to pick up 
The enemy’s sword and cut the head off 
The others will flee for who can stand 
Against our Almighty God

Yet as I meditate on the book of Judges 
Compromise seems to be ruling the hearts 
Yes, and this is also disobedience

How many times do we think we can look the other way
My soul let us listen to God first in all things 
For an enemy that is alive will be a thorn on our flesh 

My God, in Him I will trust
Jesus is the way the truth and light 
Who knows the power of Your anger?
For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath

Teach me Lord to number my days
So I will gain a heart of wisdom
For the days are evil
Let Your work appear to Your servants

And Your glory to all
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us
And establish the work of our hands for us
