The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Saviour, You save me from violence 2 Samuel 22:3

Hi and welcome to the vault :), come let us enter the vault. It is worth taking a look at the laptop, upgrading all info to digitial but I do like the vault.
You know each week, I see at least one spam that passes through and the majority of the time is someone posing as Paypal.
If you are in the UK forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk or 7726 if a text.
Today here is something that I have learnt: spotting spams, phishing emails. When you forward or reply you can see the email address of the sender. It is never the same as the Name it should be. It is hard to spot on the phone the sender.
So be careful on what you click.
What is phishing?
It is a type of social engineering attack often to steal user data including login credentials and credit cards numbers.
Example: PayPal scam which I seem to get a lot of. Or message from HMRC, or the FAKE invoice scam, or email account blocked scam, the list goes on
I have found it is harder to spot on the mobile app and a lot of us check emails on the phone.
Things to stop doing that might compromise the security of your phone or device:
Turning auto updates for the operating systems and apps OFF – STOP – I don’t have space, STOP. Then delete things that you don’t use and always have space for updates on the operating system.
Weak or non-existent device locks and passwords – This is the door to your house, so make sure you have the right key and the door is not left open so anyone can walk in.
Clicking links in emails or social media or unknown senders – STOP – seriously social media is a very effective way to trick users. If in doubt don’t click.
Downloading any apps outside apple or google stores – STOP – tons of fake apps posing as real and legitimate apps. Use only official app stores. Be sure of what you download. The consequences are GREAT
Connecting to random wi-fi hotspots – STOP – best to know the wifi you are connecting to or use a VPN on your device

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again. Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me. Good bye. Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂 We cannot control what happens around us, but we can control our responses. Be bless and know that the Lord loves you Lots of Love ©Hannah M Vandi. And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week: 'However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. They are disguised in a way that it does fool everyone. Caution is always required for unknown emails.
Thanks so much for sharing, bless you. 🤗💐

I’m so tired of electronic junk mail. We all need to be diligent in reporting, deleting & blocking the senders.
