The battles of life… Life is a journey with ups and downs 

It does seem like the storms are raging and the boat is full of water and soon there will be no place to hide…

Yet that might seem like it BUT what doesn’t kill you can only make you come alive more

When I read through the journey of Samson one has wonder… and as I got inspired by chapter fourteen of Judges

Temptation is part of life and not sin but a door
And blessed are you that does not walk through that door 
To his surprise a young lion came roaring against him
So many battles in the world…

Where is our hope? 
The enemy comes to steal, to kill and to destroy 
The enemy seeks to devour it pry
The enemy prowls like lion and 
woe to you if you are alone 
Woe to you if you are among the vineyards alone

Where is our hope?
Not on our heels
For he is swifter than us
Not in our weapons 
We are naturally not armed 
Not in our hands 
Which are weak and not ready to fight 

Where is our hope?
But in the spirit of the Lord our God 
By Him we can do all things 
By Him we can stand and fight 
If God fights in us 
Who can resist us 
For we have a stronger Lion in us than 
The lion outside prowling against us 
So I say where is our hope?

'Let our hope be in the Lord From this time forth and forever.'
