The Voyage of the week!

'Then Job answered the Lord and said,
“I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained.
[You said to me] ‘Who is this that darkens and obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge?’ Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered that which I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. ‘Hear, please, and I will speak;
I will ask You, and You instruct [and answer] me.’ I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear,
But now my [spiritual] eye sees You.
Therefore I retract [my words and hate myself] And I repent in dust and ashes.” '

Job 42:1-6 AMP

Hello and welcome and I hope you had a good week and guess what? It’s Friday and the weekend is almost here. I am always looking forward to my weekends. I hope you are too.

A time to rest and a time to truly relax 🙂

Truly I am enjoying the Book of Judges and savouring each day. This week, it was hard yet the truth of man has to be seen. Judges 17 shows me what it  means to have no King in your heart. To be ruled by my desires and let temptation overtake the entire body.

Everyone did what was right in there own eyes: is this any different to us now
Looking at history of men doing things right in their eyes:

It seems right in the eyes of Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit
But God said it was wrong

It seems right in the eyes of Cain to kill his brother
But God said it was wrong

It seems right to the eyes of the sons of Jacob to sell Joseph
But God said it was wrong

It seems right to the eyes of Aaron to listen to the people of Israel and create an idol
But God said it was wrong

It seems right to the eyes of Nadab and Abihu to offer strange fire before the Lord
But God said it was wrong

It seems right to the eyes of King David to commit adultery with Bathsheba and kill the husband
But God said it was wrong

It seems right to the eyes of Judas to betray Jesus
But God said it was wrong

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 14:12

We have to follow God’s way and not our own

In our own eyes we get desperate
Our services our now for hire instead of worship

If God choose you desperation is not becoming of you
Instead we are lead not driven

God always turns it around for the good of all those who love Him
Why my soul do we seek the water
that makes us thirst for more
The Lord reign forever and ever
I have search and look yet no one can
give the answers I want
For the Lord Jesus can turn
the bitter water sweet

I looked at Micah's journey and his Idolatry
As I look at his journey

Remember my soul to magnify His work in our life
Remember that God is great
He created and laid the foundation of the earth
He commands the sea to be still
And waves of the sea to have it’s limit

My soul let us look at His glory
The Lord our God gave the Ostrich no wisdom
And no understanding yet they are the fastest birds on land
They lay the largest egg of any living land animal
Yet it is on floor for all to step on
My soul let us glorify the Lord
For He takes care of the eggs of an Ostrich
Why not us
