“Treasure Trove of Information”

'David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them,
“May you be blessed by the Lord ,
because you showed this loyalty to Saul your lord and buried him.
Now may the Lord show steadfast love and faithfulness to you.
And I will do good to you because you have done this thing. '

2 Samuel 2:5-6 ESV

Hi and welcome to the vault, another week has started. Hope you had a good weekend.

My weekend was warm, sunny and relaxing. It was also an interesting weekend…

On Saturday as I was at home and not feeling up for anything and just down and as the enemy came to attack. Well below is a poem I wrote to my soul and myself to focus and not lose hope. I write a lot of poem to God..

My heart belongs to the Lord
My heart is for God
And in Him the rivers of water flow

He directs all the rivers flowing in my heart
In the right direction
Because we belong to the Lord

My soul let us let the flow of water
Be directed by our Lord and Saviour
My soul let us listen to the sound of
The river as they flow

My soul let not our heart be lazy
My soul let us seek the Lord with all our might
My soul let us worship His Holy Name

In the moment of our weakest the enemy comes like a lion, he is not one but prowls and looking to devour anyone. He has no authority over our lives. So I started to write a poem to God and to redirect my focus from me to God

From my circumstance to my God.

Yes, Saturday was a lazy day but after finishing the poems, I got up and went shopping for presents for my mum. Her birthday is tomorrow and also got a present for the baby (my friend’s baby). The baby shower I went to yesterday. I was very tempted to get myself something but I did not even with 70% discount, I am so proud of myself.

On Sunday, I went to one of my pastor and a friend to pray for me and he gave the scripture of 2 Corinthians 10:5

It is amazing that our faith is activated when we step out.

In the midst of trial God speaks to us through people around us

God is good, there is no doubt about that and you know He is good when you are in the fire and come out stronger, with no smoke smelling on you.

Everyone has a way to speak to God, mine is poetry… what is yours? It is a gift, use it!

And always remember He listens and He directs

Above all, always Listen to His small whispers for He wants all your attention

So, on Sunday after church I went to the baby shower and it was just so different and so much fun and so much food and an honour to be invited to share this day. Games were played, as well as children running around. Yes it was different and so lovely and the theme was bees. I LOVED IT

Welcome to the vault: thanks for joining me on my weekend tour, follow me, let us see what we can find today. Oh look, as the world economy is going down. It is always good to look at our Financial well-being!

Financial well-being is one piece of the overall spectrum of our well-being and when it is jeopardised, it may be felt in the other areas of our lives.

Financial well-being is also about feeling secure and in control of your day-to-day finances. And having enough money to pay for the bills, with a plan to deal with the unexpected costs

Habits that can help:

Talking to someone either spouse, friend, family member or financial adviser or your bank:

Helps you to plan your financial future more effectively

It is also good for the mental health

Make a plan:

Just making a plan can be a weight off the shoulder

Research has shown that financial wellbeing can have a positive effect on both physical and mental health.

Part of making a plan is – Budgeting:

it is a helpful tool and by creating a budget it helps you to look at your spending and how much is available to repay each month if in debts. It gives you an idea on areas that you can free up more money and if possible save.

It is also not just a tool to make a plan BUT helps prioritise debts. When you prioritise debts this may help you feel more in control of your money.

And always remember if it is too much you can always get help with either the government services available for help with debts or whoever you bank with may help you to consolidate your debts.

When it comes to debts: whatever you choose, always try and pay as much as you can to try and reduce the amount of interest you pay each month.

Food for thought:

Having a poor financial well-being has a knock on effect on our physical health, mental health and our relationships.

A good financial well-being is one part that leads to happier, more confident, more productive life both at work and personally.

Whatever you wanting to do with your finances, have a goal in mind and that will help you get there quicker!

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

May your week be full of The Joy of the Lord
I praise God for your life
May He teach you
His way as you walk in His foot path
In the Name of Jesus
Amen

Remember,
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you
Lots of Love - Hannah

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

The earth is the LORD's and all its fullness,
the world and those who dwell therein

Welcome to my vault, come in, it is very lovely that you dropped by. Greetings to you! Sorry it is late today.

The Lord is my Shepherd
What can man do to me?
What can the enemy do?

For yea though I walk through the valley
The shadows will not overcome me
For the Lord my God
Is indeed my Shepherd

His rod and staff will comfort me
His rod and staff will move me in the right direction
And I will dwell with Him forever

The Lord my God has deliver me from the power of darkness
And we are now in the Kingdom of the Son of His Love
The Son that I can gaze upon and never be burnt
The Son that has made me new in the sight of my God

What can man do to me?
What can the enemy do to me?
Jesus is the image of the invisible God

What a weekend? Knowing that you are loved is what makes us human.

Who doesn’t want to be loved

Who doesn’t want to be part of a community

The May weekend was glorious and sunny. Last week we started the Book of Colossians. After the week of hell on earth and the Love of Jesus around me, I have come to love the day as it is. And just enjoy the moment. Thank the Lord for His Grace and Mercy, be blessed!

The fresh winds are gone
the sun is welcoming
the day is longer and more
time is spent with loved ones

One hopes, one can only hope
what is life without hope

May the FORCE be with you!
I kid you NOT
Yes May the Holy Spirit be with You!

As I walk down the path
I see the spring flowers blooming
Birds chirping
Life is starting to be joyful day by day

May it is time for change
May you see the change you want

Hope you enjoyed your weekend and it is a joy you stopped by.

Come as much as I would love to sit and talk about the leaves that fade, and that death comes to all. May the FORCE be with You.

Life is full of little or big surprises.

Enjoy the moments!

Let see what we can find in the vaults:

Gluten: What is gluten?

It is a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. It is a vital ingredient in a huge range of breads, pasta and other products. However some people are sensitive to gluten and suffer health problems when they eat it.

Gluten as a food allergen, will be marked on ingredient lists in bold print allowing people with an allergy to identify foods with gluten in them.

Is there gluten-free wheat?

No, all wheat contains gluten. However, there is a type of starch that is gluten-free. It is made by thoroughly washing wheat flour with water to remove the gluten.

An increase in the range of gluten-free foods available in recent years has made it easier for sufferers to have a varied gluten-free diet

Unless people are very careful in the food they eat, a gluten-free diet can lack vitamins, minerals and fibre. There are many natural and unprocessed foods that can help to remedy any deficiency in fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Fibre – alternatives Beans, fruit, vegetables, nuts

B vitamins – Non-gluten-containing whole grains such as brown rice and quinoa

Vitamin D – sunlight, oily fish, fortified milk products

Folic acid – leafy green vegetables, beans

Iron – meat, leafy green vegetables

Calcium – dairy foods

Zinc – red meat, diary foods

Magnesium – leafy green vegetables, nuts and seeds

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

'Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.'

Psalms 63:3-4

Welcome to my vault, come in, it is very lovely that you dropped by. Hope you had a good weekend. My weekend was a great one, sunny and chilly.

Always remember to:

Take time to stop and look at the flowers and trees.
Do not be overly righteous
Nor be overly wise
Why should you destroy yourself?

For the grass fades
The flowers will die
The trees will lose its leaves
So enjoy them while they are around

Life is vanity
All things will pass
Store your treasures in Heaven
Enjoy the gifts of life
And fear the Lord our God

Come as much as I would love to sit and talk about the leaves that fade, and that death comes to all. Let see what we can find in the vaults:

It takes a lifetime to enjoy the simple things. The availability of food and the way we eat has overridden our abilities to distinguish between true hunger and just eating for the sake of it.

Not knowing if you are truly hungry or when you are satiated (full) has undoubtedly contributed to the current obesity epidemic we are experiencing.

What is hunger?

Hunger – A craving for food or urgent need for food. It is also an useasy sensation occasionally caused by the lack of food.

Hunger is controlled by a complex interconnected system including our brain, digestive system and fat stores.

Our desire to eat is triggered by internal factors such as low blood sugar or an empty stomach or it can also be triggered by external factors such as the sight or smell of food.

Other substances that can help control appetite by specific actions of the body.

Water: it stretches the stomach that triggers satiety. Satiety is short-lived as water is quickly absorbed and the body responds to the lack of nutrients

Exercise: High-intensity aerobic exercise affects release of hunger hormones which temporarily suppress hunger

Proteins: affects the release of various appetite-regulating hormones such as leptin increasing feelings of fullness.

Fibre: high in fibre slows the emptying of the stomach and delay the absorption of nutrients keeping you fuller for longer

Nicotine: activates receptors in the hypothalamus, reducing hunger signals

Grapefruits: the scent of grapefruit seems to reduce activation of the vagus nerve reducing appetite.

Hunger! Are you really hungry?

Hunger is usually the lowest priority. From a survival perspective, the only thing that should affect our eating habits is AM I HUNGRY? If YES then food is consumed, if NO then no food is required.

Well we know that is not the case, our eating behaviour is affected by habit or influenced by social, psychological, sensory or physiological factors.

A good start is the simple act of just stopping, pausing to give yourself a minute thinking time to reflect and ask why you want to eat?

It is not an easy process as it might sound but creating a space can assist in the quest to take control of your eating habits and knowing when to stop.

In addition there will always be practical reasons why you eat at certain times, irrespective of your hunger levels.

Respect it and give yourself grace. Know that there is a difference between hunger and cravings.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me

'With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Let grace be shown to the wicked,
Yet he will not learn righteousness;
In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly,
And will not behold the majesty of the Lord .'

Wembley Stadium

Hi and welcome to my vault.. Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was wonderful. It was Mother’s Sunday in London.

Happy Mother’s Day to all women!

It was also my birthday on Saturday and the weather was so perfect. Was at Wembley Stadium watching the friendly football between England v Switzerland. It was great to see England win the match 2-1.

What a blessing it was to have friends and family around to make it special.

Wonderous are the works of the Lord
Awesome things He has done for those that Love Him

When He said He will do, He always does
Not the way we like it

Yes He is not man to lie nor
is He the son of man to do things like man

He shames the strong with the weak
He humbles the mighty

My soul would magnify the Lord
And my spirit will rejoice in the Lord my God and Saviour
Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.

2 Samuel 22:3

Hi and welcome to the vault :), come let us enter the vault. It is worth taking a look at the laptop, upgrading all info to digitial but I do like the vault.

You know each week, I see at least one spam that passes through and the majority of the time is someone posing as Paypal.

If you are in the UK forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk or 7726 if a text.

Today here is something that I have learnt: spotting spams, phishing emails. When you forward or reply you can see the email address of the sender. It is never the same as the Name it should be. It is hard to spot on the phone the sender.

So be careful on what you click.

What is phishing?

It is a type of social engineering attack often to steal user data including login credentials and credit cards numbers.

Example: PayPal scam which I seem to get a lot of. Or message from HMRC, or the FAKE invoice scam, or email account blocked scam, the list goes on

I have found it is harder to spot on the mobile app and a lot of us check emails on the phone.

Things to stop doing that might compromise the security of your phone or device:

Turning auto updates for the operating systems and apps OFF – STOP – I don’t have space, STOP. Then delete things that you don’t use and always have space for updates on the operating system.

Weak or non-existent device locks and passwords – This is the door to your house, so make sure you have the right key and the door is not left open so anyone can walk in.

Clicking links in emails or social media or unknown senders – STOP – seriously social media is a very effective way to trick users. If in doubt don’t click.

Downloading any apps outside apple or google stores – STOP – tons of fake apps posing as real and legitimate apps. Use only official app stores. Be sure of what you download. The consequences are GREAT

Connecting to random wi-fi hotspots – STOP – best to know the wifi you are connecting to or use a VPN on your device

This information is for educational purposes only…to make you research for yourself and think before you click on any links.

Oh dear, look around. It is time for me to say goodbye but... hope to see you again.
