'Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.
Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me.
However, those the Father has given me will come to me,
and I will never reject them.
For I have come down from heaven to do the
will of God who sent me, not to do my own will.
And this is the will of God,
that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me,
but that I should raise them up at the last day.
For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son
and believe in him should have eternal life.
I will raise them up at the last day.”'

John 6:35-40 NLT
Does this offend you?
What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

The LORD Lives!
Does this offend you?
Blessed be the Rock of my Salvation
Let God be exalted

Hello Everyone! Scream and shout
The Lord lives indeed
Come to Him all who are thirsty
Come to the waters
For everyone who drinks of the water that
The Lord gives will never thirst again
All who have no money
Come, buy and eat
Yes, come for we are all His children
For money is not valued in His Kingdom

Blessed be the Lord our God
For in times when all things seem chaotic
I know that it is not from our God
For You Lord are not a God of confusion
When there seems to be pressure
From everywhere, the lid on the pot seems to not stand still
That is not from You Lord
I know that You only lead
Through the Holy Spirit
No force, no intimidation
But pure Love and You never give up

So I set time to spend in Your presence
For what is man that You will want to be around us
For my soul is full of troubles
When I sit and want to wallow in self pity
In the darkness, Your light shines
Showing me the way out, giving me a chance
To have life and to not waste away in self pity
Who is mighty like You, O Lord?
You carry me away like a flood
You bring me to the land of the living
That I may praise Your Name
Yes, the Lord Lives indeed
Bless be the Rock of my Salvation
For the Lord has chosen
Thank you for stopping by

'To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet” ? '

Hebrews 1:13 NIV
Edited in Prisma app with Surf
Lord I thank You for a New Month

The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer
The God of my strength in whom I put my trust
My Saviour, You saved me from violence
I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised

So shall I be saved from my enemies

When the waves of death surrounds me
The floods of ungodliness made me afraid
The sorrows of the world surrounds me
The snares of death confronted me

In my distress I call upon the Lord

My cry enters His ear
I put on the full armour of God
For the enemies are unseen
The mind is shaken
as the earth shook and trembled

For death was not far

But at the name of the Lord
With a whisper as no sound could be spoken
I was made whole and life entered in the body
He drew me out of the darkness

From the brightness before Him

Coals of fire were kindled
He drew me out of the darkest pit
He delivered me from my strong enemy
For there was no voice to speak only a whisper

They were too strong for me
They came in the night in the weakest moment
But the Lord was my support
He delivered me, the God of all gods
For The Lord my God is a lamp

The Lord shall enlighten my darkness

He is the tower of Salvation to His servant
For by Him I shall face the terror of the night
By my God I can sleep at night
For I trust in Him my God

And He shows mercy to His anointed

The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock
Let God be exalted
The Rock of my salvation!

True Worship

'The king stood by the pillar and renewed the covenant
in the presence of the Lord —to follow
the Lord and keep his commands, statutes and decrees
with all his heart and all his soul,
thus confirming the words of the covenant written in this book.
Then all the people pledged themselves to the covenant. '

2 Kings 23:3 NIV

What we worship, we reflect. I love how the building reflects all the other buildings around. It is simple physic of Reflective window film reflecting light on the outside like a mirror.

Serve the Lord with Fear
And rejoice with trembling

I love how the Old Testament talks
about the Fear of the Lord
It makes me think about the world
It also makes me think about the Lord Jesus
So this week listening to the account of David
The Books of 1 and 2 Samuel then 1 and 2 Kings

Everything is vanity, I tell you vanity
But we must Fear the Lord
And walk with Him,
for yes here I am thinking about death
Well I will die, it might not be today by God’s Grace

But death is inevitable
For our Lord is in heaven and we are on earth
Our days are but a number
So let our words be few

And so I continue to ponder on 2 Kings
It was the way Josiah acted that got me thinking
What does it actually mean true worship?
I am easily distracted and it is the
Grace of God that jump starts me back

So I have learned not to vow
Why should I provoke the Lord’s anger on me
I tell you everything is vanity
For as wind cannot be grasp so is life as it passes by
So I say fear the Lord our God
Not human, for we will all die one day

So I say to my soul
Why should I fear? The Lord said fear not
So I listen to my God
We will be prosecuted, yes we will
So does that mean, I shy away
Well, I could and guess what?

The consequences is far greater
and not worth it
In the end, the Lord will say
Depart from me I know you not
That is far worse than be killed

I tell you it far better to stand now
In the crowd, speak the truth in love
Be persecuted and hated BUT always
Speaking the truth in Love
What does that mean?
It is not spite,
It is not boasting
It is the Love of Christ
that radiates and permeates my
very bones. That my mouth cannot shut
up. My heart is full of compassion
My heart thinks and move with the spirit
within me. For greater is He that is in me
than He that is in the world

Yeah, back to what was I saying
You can say she took a detour
I certainly did not, I got distracted
I must not be saying these words
For what a man thinks so is he

So I learnt from Josiah
Worshiping God is everything we do
For at work, that is an act of worship to God
Who we worship we become

And so I taught if I focus on the dead
then I am dead
If I focus on idols that don’t speak or hear
then I become as dumb and blind as they are
If I focus on my phone that is always
distracted with all the notifications
then I will always be distracted
by the things of the world

Lord have mercy upon my soul
Lead me in the way that I should go
For when You call let me answer
Let me be attentive to Your Voice, Father

'Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.'

And rejoice with trembling

'Who is like the wise?
Who knows the explanation of things?
A person’s wisdom brightens their face and changes its hard appearance. '

Ecclesiastes 8:1 NIV
Edited in Prisma app with Light summer reading
Who knows the explanation of things?
All things are said, for they are repeat words

This is all vanity, consider the work of God
For He makes everything straight

This is Good News that everyone must hear
Come and hear the Good News

News that the Lord will never let us down
Even down the pit, He will find us

He says seek me
And You will find me

Lord, I will seek You with all my heart
My heart will have lost all hope

If not for You, for You did it once
You can do it again

For there is no one like You
The redeemer and my Saviour

In the midst of everything around the world
In the chaos Your voice is louder than anything

Lord, You silence the words in my mind
Lord, You remind me of Your goodness

Your faithfulness has never failed me
Your kindness let’s me see what the world is like

Your words says Trust me
Have I ever let You down

And now my head shall be lifted up
Above all the news of the world

Therefore I will offer sacrifice of Joy in Your House
I will sing, yes I will sing praises to the Lord

His timing is not mine
For He never fails

That is Good news, for the Lord reigns
You have been our help

When all fails, You reign
You deliver us from our adversaries

In You, my God I put my trust
I give thanks to my God and my Lord
Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Treasure Trove of Information

'And we urge you, brothers and sisters,
warn those who are idle and disruptive,
encourage the disheartened, help the weak,
be patient with everyone. '

1 Thessalonians 5:14 NIV
London-South Bank

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord God, that He has given us an opportunity to be a blessing. I pray that we will never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. That we will rejoice in Him always and give thanks in all things, in the name of Jesus.

Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend. My weekend from Friday to Sunday, I came into the house to sleep.

We are sons and daughters of God and not slaves. One of the spiritual truths to know in our hearts. He is the God of our Salvation, who redeems and heals us from all unrighteousness.

If there is one thing I love is the word that became flesh and dwell among us to show us what it means to love, to walk Holy and blameless in the presence of God. So all can come and know Him by our examples.

God’s purpose is not for His children to perish or walk in fear.
God will always do what He plans
God appointed Christ to choose us

Which is like a bridegroom coming out of His Chamber
And rejoices like a strong man run its race

Sunday service was knowing that God is a God of Healing and so our service was on Faith for Healing. The one I pray to have always-Healing. To listen to God and not doubt

The mystery of God is made known to all of us:

'In him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins,
in accordance with the riches of God’s grace '

Ephesians 1:7 NIV

God is indeed the God of healing
The Almighty God who saves

The Lord sets the table

In Christ Jesus we are all invited
To feast with the Lord
More room in the table for all

But we have to be dressed for it

We have to believe and have faith as small as a mustard seed
To a move a mountain we do not need a mountain of faith
For the God we serve is bigger than the mountain
He needs a seed, the smallest seed will do

So prayed and allowed the Holy Spirit to come and do what He does best. And after church, I walked with a friend and listened and prayed.

I must admit I love to walk with people. It is one of the things that I took from the lockdown. We were not allowed to meet in the building so we met outside, who needed a building to pray.

God is not confined to a building and we also get to see His marvelous works.

Saturday was spent in Swanley Park, with another friend and her daughter in the park. Single mum, I don’t know how they do it but they are heroes.

Did Pedalo, for the first time and it was hard work but loved it.

I thank the Lord God
That He loves everyone
He create a space to serve Him
He gives us all an opportunity to be a blessing

I must admit I have missed seeing so many people:

So Friday, I went for a walk again with another friend at night and forgot how alive London is at night.

It has been so long since I saw so many people in the street so imagine my shock on Friday night walking down the River Thames.

Every Summer there is a festival, live band music and people just sitting and having some sort of picnic.

As we walked along the river talking and reminding ourselves of the gifts of God. Giving testimonies and talking about TRUST. Trusting in God. And we did over a 30K walk, and well deserved street food at night.

It just reminds of the relationship we are meant to have on earth as Christ followers
For if we died with Him
We shall also live with Him
If we endure,
We shall reign with Him
If we deny Him
He also will deny us
If we are faithless
He remains faithful
He cannot deny Himself

As Paul wrote to Timothy

It is good to know that
He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Thanks for reading my journal of walking in the weekend

Today I have a nugget to share about EGGS: Please not that this is information only!

In the United Kingdom the government uses the Eatwell Plate Guide to show pictorially the different types of food we need to eat to achieve a well-balanced and healthy diet.

Eggs – have had lots of bad press

The reputation in recent years is NOT great BUT most concerns are unfounded

For instance egg yolk is high in cholesterol, but contrary to what scientists once thought, dietary cholesterol does not greatly affect blood cholesterol levels.

They can be considered to be the perfect food, handy and self-contained packages of healthy protein. Guess what, they are rich in almost every desirable nutrient.

Egg whites: contains 90 percent of the egg’s water and half of it’s protein. Rich in protein but low in fat and cholesterol and extremely useful for cooking. The egg white is very rich in Ovalbumin, the main protein.

Egg Yolk: one third of the entire egg is the Yolk, which contains half of the egg’s overall protein, three-quarters of the calories and all the Iron, thiamine (Vitamin B1), fat, cholesterol, and Vitamins A, D, E and K. In Fact, eggs are one of the few food sources of Vitamin D. It also contains essential fatty acids.

Information for vegetarian nutrients sources: Protein: milk, cheese, yoghurts, eggs, beans, lentils, peas, nuts, seeds: Eat a mix of plant protein over the day for a good intake of essential amino acids. A good daily intake is 1g/kg body weight

B12: dairy products, eggs, fortified foods: Include B12 fortified foods as part of the daily diet. The RNI for this vitamin is 1.5 micrograms

In the UK if you are vegan, then check out the NHS for vegan diet

The beauty about eggs is they are versatile and cooked in different ways, even baking.

Nugget: the quality of the egg diminishes over time, partly because the shell is highly porous, allowing moisture to escape. The white becomes runnier and the membrane around the yolk weaker as the egg dehydrates and becomes alkaline. Poached eggs and fried eggs are best when the eggs are fresh.

Thank you again for stopping by it means a lot to me.

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV
