Walking into the unknown

' The Lord rules forever!
The nations are driven out of his land.
Lord , you have heard the request of the oppressed;
you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.
You defend the fatherless and oppressed,
so that mere mortals may no longer terrorize them.'

Psalms 10:16-18 NET

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

Waiting for the footsteps to recede down the tunnel as they moved closer. As Athan and men disappeared down into a dark room, Fulrose let go of the breath she had been holding.

Making herself move to the close door, Nwe took a deep breath.

As ready as I could ever be, she told herself. All I can do is try and keep any tension down and see if she can be on our side or make sure the damage is minimal.

They strengthened as she reached the green wooden door. Grasping the handle she pushed the door inward as it swung open freely. Nwe smiled at Cassa standing by the heat of fire. Fulrose closed the door behind them.

Cassa looked surprised at the intruders, and gave them a wary look. She made no attempt to hide her distrust in them but willing to hear them. Nwe reads from Cassa’s mind that this intrusion was not expected but out of curiosity and her need to be free.

Come in, Nwe, said Cassa as moved around getting the bronze and not stopping.

Thank you, Cassa. As she stepped closer eyes took in the small work shift place taking in the bronzes in the selves and the amount of shelves around. And in the corner the fireplace that creates.

Why are you here? Asked Cassa

Nwe chuckled, straight to the point I like that. She indicated to Fulrose to follow, without looking to see if  she was followed moved further into the room to create space from the door and close the ears of outsiders. Both Cassa and Fulrose entered the makeshift circle.

I want you to remember what happened to Amiya, to eliminate the problem we need your help.

Cassa considered this news. It is a good idea, she thought. It is about time she gained her freedom. Why has she invited her to this when they could do it themselves and kill her. Her plans will be dangerous and possible death to all. At once Cassa felt a rising suspicion.

What do you want from me? She blurted.

To invite you to join in the fight, and not to make the weapon he has requested or not as exactly as he wants. It will be dangerous for all if he gets his hands on it. Can you slow him down?

Cassa frowned For how long?

Until we locate the missing men out in the open that are killing. We don’t want to be distracted by him. So they think she is useful and capable of it, Cassa thought. It will be nice to be part of their team for a change. Think I should get some kind of a thank you and acknowledgement for all the work she has done over the years… but I suppose this is an acknowledgement they had sorted her out. Flattered for a moment and she had a small thrill of hope.

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

I do love the Lord and I love that you took the time to read my blog. Bless you.

Have a wonderful day 🙂

Walking into the unknown!

'Then Adonai descended in the cloud, stood with him there, as he called on the Name of Adonai .
Then Adonai passed before him, and proclaimed,
“ Adonai , Adonai , the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger,
and abundant in lovingkindness and truth, showing mercy to a thousand generations,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, yet by no means leaving the guilty unpunished,
but bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children,
to the third and fourth generation.” '
Exodus 34:5-7

The Story continues….as my imagination runs wild, we see in the eyes of Folrose, Nwe, Amiya and Athan. Welcome to the next part!

Athan, standing still not knowing what to say or how to react, looked past Amiya and straight at Fulrose. In silence they stood what seemed like hours was only a couple of minutes. So inching a little away only to see Amiya pushed to the floor as Athan jumped over, and where do you think you are going? Looking at Amiya who was as white as the daisy flowers that surrounded us,her eyes were wide open and lifeless and her dress was soaked in blood,  he continued. Yes, I knew she would eventually betray me so I took measures when I was out of her sight. Showing off what looks like a vest, it reflects any weapons used against it. See I cast a spell if you try to harm, you will only be killing yourself with a smirked look on his face. So truly she killed herself because of her own selfishness, we had a good thing going and I would have done anything for her.

Then Nwe turned and raised her eyes and looked and observed four men moving to the back of her and two on each side and four in the front. With an attempt to come at once, closing her eyes with a focus on the centre of the sword. Feeling the energy of the room, she could see each energy radiating from each man as they got nervous the energy was stronger. Feeding into the energy surrounding them, the sword became one in her hand and the dance started. Moving with music of the sword she reached the four men at the back with a swift strike and the music stopped.

For she was now one with the sword, something had changed in the sword, the black flame now surrounded her hand and reflected on her eyes. The dance was different and she could completely let go and move to the music. Hands raised high she moved to the centre and the men got into position for another attack. They had no hope but she could start to see that some were thinking before acting.

Nwe stood and let the music move her mind and body, watching the men’s headlong rush and with a battle cry that was blocked by the sound of the music. She met each dance, some men stumbled, some tried to grope with outstretched hands but it was futile. For the sword has tasted the enemy’s blood, men fell to the fall. As the cries grew the dance grew stronger and the intensity, for she could see her soul was getting stronger with the sword at each death. The progress of the men started to slow as the first set of men fell to the floor, the others were now at a predicament. As it moved with the flow killing all its path some stopped and wondered but could not escape the song, for the sword was blind to the cries. And as its path was down, at last relief overflowed me. Then I looked up and outside Fulrose was at the mercy of Athan as they walked in.

Athan looked very pleased as any one would look at a child, walking to the fireplace with Fulrose by his side. Along the way, Fulrose filled her in on how everything had gone and ran a few things by her that will be problematic. How was she to kill someone with a spelled vest which might be protecting his entire body. The head doesn’t seem to be protected, says the sword. We can knock him out and don’t do anything that will kill him as Fulrose injected. He has now done something to me that will affect me if you kill him, I will die. What? Yes, what we need is to get his mind of the situation at hand. Something to give him a reason to occupy his mind for a while. Any ideas?

Athan looked around, occupied and was very much looking for something as this could be the distraction we need. What is the matter? As he stopped and looked at both of us. Why are you two looking like that? What are you scheming about? Did she tell you the consequence of killing me?

Continuing to look at the walls..
