Walking into the unknown

The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all

Psalm 103:19

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

Athan entered, looking at them disappeared in the air, how could this happen? He should have guarded the place and none of this would happen. What did they say to Cassa? Caution is needed lest she is now infected before the weapon is completed.

Men would be posted around as a precaution and also a warning he is not to be trifled with. Cassa walked in with caution, she had not expected him in this room. Maybe he knows, as he stopped cautiously waiting.

What have you been up to today? He asked.

She shrugged, “Thought, had two of your worst enemies today. They are nice and gave me tips on how to join and betray you.

Well I argued with myself as well as talked to myself.

Oh and who won?

I did, I think?

Not completed yet, still debatable.

What was the argument about?

Who owns our body!

And what did you conclude?

I do! I see it daily and recognise it and so do you. Therefore it is mine, I think!

Otherwise I would be dead if I was not valuable.  It is very good to recognise oneself in the mirror and stand firm to it.

He chuckled, and?

He looked hurt, that was not what he wanted to hear. But at the moment, she didn’t care and wanted to get away. It will be over tomorrow and this will end and he will face the dance with the two ladies. He knows where the sword has taken them. He needs to find a way to get to them before they destroy everything he has worked for.

Recognising the question. I have almost completed your dagger and was taking a break. It will be completed tomorrow. She met his eyes and held them.

He looked away, this will be harder than he thought. I have things to take care of and I will see you tomorrow.

She senses his reluctance  and his frustration and sympathises. Left with her taught and resolved, this will be the last time in this place dead or alive. She will be walking out of this place and hopefully not dead.

What a journey?

I seem to like the short story in the moment 🙂

This is a journal of imaginative mind, fiction and also not much editing letting the words flow. Come back next week to see what happens. For as humans we need to be creative, use imagination and be the best version of ourself. Just like our Father wants us to be.

Who knows the mind of a human, only God!

“Walking into the unknown”

To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and be silent
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

She found herself standing in an alleyway, with no one in sight. The floor was uneven as she got closer to the light not knowing what happened to the people she followed or where she was. She was not concerned, don’t be ridiculous!

Her inner voice spoke. We are in a different land, no bag for the day and who knows what we will face. Also we need to get out of this royal clothes draped around you. You need to start dressing normally and this colour is inconspicuous.

She had always hated it, she was never hidden and from a mile she can be found. Purpose was that she could be spotted, vowing to take away that rule when she ruled.

She has now abandoned her responsibilities and needed to start a new life and that includes these clothes.

She will also need to put those fighting skills to use.

She had always questioned why she needed to train, you never know when you will need to use the skill, her wise grandpa said. Now looking at these men as they got close, she is glad she did listen and obey.

She stared at them, did she really fear the unknown that much?

Of Course they will not harm me, they don’t even know me. How naive!

What have we here? Little princess and in the alleyway. Did you miss the ship or are you lost?

The laughter echoed far as she moved further into the back.

Now it was their turn to stare back at her. Slowly the leader’s face relaxed and he smiled without reaching his eyes.

I can’t believe we found one of them, as he continued. She still did not understand those comments. What was meant by one of them?

She let out a quick breath of exasperation. I can’t believe we are in the cave, said Fulrose. As the memories fade away.

Nwe nodded. Yes, of course. I didn’t know you are a princess?

Fulrose hid a smile. Nothing gets past you and that sword of yours. Here I thought I was having a private memory of what was lost and can never be found.

Nwe met her eyes and a faint smile curled her lips. I am glad you did. It is better for our friendship to know you and I hope we can find your home and visit them one day if you want.

Fulrose nodded, maybe we will. Thank you.

They moved to the end of the tunnel leading into the room, holding unto the sword they leaped into the air.

Walking into the Unknown

'For none of us lives for ourselves alone,
and none of us dies for ourselves alone.
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die,
we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die,
we belong to the Lord. '

But he was wrong as he opened what seemed like a wall was indeed an opening into a different world.

Looking from the space was a bigger screen, as he showed the two walking around. Possible to kill Cassa and then his plans for another weapon will be over, he needs to get back now.

Not all of us are that bad, Kaih pointed out. I cannot be bugged down by the mundane job of cleaning if I cannot smell it or see it.

What is this fool talking about? Athen thought.

How do I get out of here? Louder than expected, said Athen.

For a long time now Folrose was sure that something was not right in the village. Every evening as she sat by the same tree, the air changed right about now. This time, not only the air but sounds could be heard.

Wondering and listening had taken her mind away from the ache of not wanting to rule the land. Yet she feared, what does this change mean?

Living in the land of Naho, a small village in the Western of Alfero . Remote and unknown. Having grown up in the house detached from the villagers and secluded from anyone. Surrounded by a rainforest. She had come to know when the sound and air changed.

Sitting under a banana tree as she looked into the trees not knowing what to do. Suddenly she lurched and fell to the floor. Closing her eyes she gave in to the sounds.

The noise grew loud, letting sound guide her footsteps as she climbed to the top of the tree. Watching from a distance, jumping to the next wanting to get closer to the sounds.  From a distance these men and women walked to the cave. No one was allowed to go in and they do not seem like anyone she has seen or knows. They were passing by and seemed to be carrying something. What were they doing in Naho? Thumped as she landed so hard, causing a racket to stop them in track.

What was that? said Amiya. Let’s get out of here quickly before we are found.

From a distance she started to cautiously get closer, this was a chance to get out and never be seen. She also needed to make sure they didn’t look for her or follow. Dropping the bracelet of the princess means I reject the kingship, before the doors close she threw it to the floor and disappeared into the unknown place.

Walking into the unknown

may those who long for your saving help always say, “
The Lord is great!” '

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

Athan had the feeling he was being watched or so he taught. His need to get to the bottom of it grew and which means his patience decreases.

Something needs to be done before he leaves this place.

So when he saw the boy walking with no care, surely you can walk faster than this. Every minute counts and being patient was not a thing he very much liked. He will wait and bide his time and get that sword. It belongs to him and no one else.

Here we are, pushing past into this dump of a place. What is this smell? And how can one find anything in this dark and grime place. Do you live in this place? His voice betrays his distaste for the lack of decor and aroma.

No sir, we sleep and live on the street..

Athan shook his head. How do you expect to find anything here?

Frowning, Me know how to get it , it is everywhere I can help. Moving faster into the room, for he could tell that he might get killed after giving the information. But he has safe plans and he needs to get in before anything happens.

I will wait by the door and be quick before I come get you.

Suit yourself but it will be better if you get closer to me. There are many tales around, but I am best at what I do. And I plan on getting someone to clean up. I crave physical closeness, and why I go out at night. My name is Kaih.

It is nice to finally meet you. I have heard that you also feel this way too. I mean you can love as well as hate. You got married to Amiya and then killed her. As Kaih continued

Athen nooded. Oh yes. You would have to finish the task at hand and talk less.

Kaih, shrugged. If you can love too, I suggest you stay away from her. She is not alone at the moment.

You better get back now, they are in the cave.

What? Says Athen.

It now made sense why he could be in this place long. The air changed in the circle, cleaner air and out of space, the technology was nothing he had seen. As he enters into a different world looking up at the blanket of stars stretched for infinity.

What am I looking at?

Shocked at the beauty around him, to his surprise the floor was clear and showed the room they had left behind.

Why will you look at the room? Never mind. Can I get to the cave from here?

And there is no sign of a magical door around. Athan taught.

Walking into the unknown

Life in the Unknown world continues… Welcome to the world of walking into unknown places and life is no different. Yet we seem to be surprised at what lies ahead.

What is happening now has happened before.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The story continues…

He lengthened his stride and waited for them to catch up with him as he got to the door and sensing them not far off opened the door. He could hear the waves of the water from a distance and the car moving above. It was night as the cars seemed to pass less.

It was time to move above and find the rest of his crew. The journey is almost over and the need to get the sword is stronger than before. He can sense it more strongly calling out to him. He fought the urge to look for it. Why was it stronger right now? Looking at the men, get back to work.. Shouting was necessary and sensing the disorder around made it worse. Storming out of the hole as he came to the top.

Something was not right, the sense was gone. Hmm it was unusually quiet walking down the lane. No one in sight is easy to sense around for the men. A thump lets him know that he has reached his destination. Looking at the orange door as men and women go in and out.

The music was loud as he weaved his way through the crowd. Getting to the end, he walked through the bronze gate.

What are you doing here? Stepping into the room, he plunged his knife into him before another word was spoken. All looked stunned and unable to move. Walked past into the far end. He needs to get to the bottom of all this, this was his thing. Killing was something he gets his pleasure from. Feeling the anger of not having the sword, he let it wash over him as he reached the end of the line. It was only a boy.

There are more than twenty of your men scattered and I can help you find the sword, said the boy. He nodded, I wish Cassa was with me. I could do with her help. Stay close, I might need you… as he walked back as he let the room change colour with his palm open.

Frightening, the boy stayed close, seeing the bodies on the floor. They got out and let the door slammed shut behind.

Leading the way, the boy stepped in front and turned right.

Let’s return, as the scene disappeared. Cassa looked at both of them not wanting to believe that Athen had just killed all those for pleasure.

Oh no, she taught. It is all good conjuring and looking at others but this was Athen and even though she knew he was capable of it. She did not want to believe and trust them. What makes them any different?

Do you not believe us? Said Nwe

As she drew closer, everything you see is real and we are real as Amiya was when he killed her.

The memory of Amiya flashed and bought uncomfortable feeling
