“Treasure Trove of Information”

' Israel lives in safety, the fountain of Jacob is quite secure,
in a land of grain and new wine; indeed, its heavens rain down dew.
You have joy, Israel! Who is like you?
You are a people delivered by the Lord ,
your protective shield and your exalted sword.
May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.'

Deuteronomy 33:28-29 NET

As I read the Book of Deuteronomy and
At the end of Moses life
He gives blessings to the people of Israel

One cannot help but be very thankful to our Lord
Jesus Christ through Him we all have this blessing
Happy are us, who come to our God
In the name of the Lord Jesus

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by. It is the beginning of August and soon we will start to see Christmas themes.

Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me wow is what I can say…

On Saturday, spur of the moment.
A friend invited me to come along to Lavender Garden and
I was just glad I did and it was just amazing.

As I walked down the lane between the beds
The sweet smell of aroma fills my norsil
As I lie on the floor looking at the sky
The smell surrounds me
The bees and the butterflies goes by
It was pure magical to be surrounded by beds of lavender, Imagine that

So Looking at the sky
One cannot help but bask in the beauty that surrounds us
The beauty of our God who created the flowers
The sweet aroma of smell that captives my senses

My eyes look at the sky and the lavender plants around me
My nose smells the sweet fragments
My ears hears the bees as they roam around
The footsteps and laughs of the people
What more beauty can define who the Lord is

The Lord our God will dwell in the dark cloud
For He has built a temple in our hearts
Through Christ Jesus we are a place that He can dwell in forever
Now therefore be courageous and walk in the land of the living

For the Lord our God is good
And His mercy endures forever

Well it will not be England if it didn’t rain
So we had loads of rain

Now today is another day
It is the First Monday of the month of August and
today is a day as any other day to give thanks
God is wonderful and no one like Him
He hears our prayer and
He has chosen you and I for Himself as the house of sacrifice
It blows my mind when I think of what the Lord has done, does and will always do

I sometimes forget it is not about me but about God.
We live in His world and He is the Maker, what more to say.
The Battle is already won
We fight on the winning side
Smile and be joyful in the Lord

When he shuts the Heavens
There will be no rain
Nothing you and I can do about it
So be glad that you have life

We have a compassionate God
Who is slow to anger and abundant in Love

Lord, You have been our shelter in all generations

True Wisdom only comes from the Lord
Seek it and you will find
Value it and you will not be disappointed
The Lord our God is also a God of Justice
He will punish the wicked
For no one will escape the day of judgement
Guard your heart above all else

Worship the Lord in Spirit and truth
It is better to have little with the fear of the Lord
Than to have great treasure and an inner turmoil

I tell you the truth,
Be wise and seek God’s will
Be hungry for His knowledge
Sit and worship Him in Spirit and truth
For fools feeds on trash
And that only brings turmoil and troubled heart
So I say be wise
Meditate on His words daily
He is closer than you think

I Love the Lord
I do Love the Lord
He Loves me first
He loves me
He loves me
Thank you for stopping by it means a lot to me.

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂
We cannot control what happens around us,
but we can control our responses.
Be bless and know that the Lord loves you

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

Dance of life

'So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you.
Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires.
Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. '

Colossians 3:5 NLT
Life is a dance and the sound can be different
What sound do we hear?

After all what gives us hope and joy
And what will be our proud reward and crown
As we stand before our Lord Jesus

Greater is He that is me than he that is the world
The dance of life continues as I woke up

Life is sweet and yet can have a bitter taste
What is man that we should come before the Lord our God
Like a tree and the wind comes and breaks it into pieces

As I step into the dance floor
Moving from one hand to the other
Forgetting our first Love
Who has never forgotten us

When I was chosen it was love
When I said Yes it was because He already said Yes

As I swirl around
My mind keeps replaying things of the past
And I know it is not from the Lord
Yet I find myself entertaining the idea

And oh how I Love the Lord
For He will always Love me and call out to me
And in a split second only to open the Bible and be reminded
Of who I am the words penetrate into my heart

The music stops
The focus shifted
A different sound was louder
A teardrop and I was reminded

The words of Paul in Colossians three
Goes straight into my heart
Piercing every bone and bringing the body and mind to attention
For does it matter in this world
I have a new dress on and I don’t wish to get it stained
It might get dirty as I run the race
White does gets dirty very easily
but it is nothing that has not already been removed

So I say to myself we are new creation
We are a new creation with new dress on

For it is by faith that we walk this earth
For what does it matter what I am wearing
All that matters is Christ Jesus and He lives in all of us
So I will boast and get the dress dirty
I will let love rule my heart

For what does it matter
Indeed what does it matter

In this world, Christ overcame it all
It is Christ that we live for and I put on this lovely dress
That is full of love
Patience that I don’t understand
The music plays, the sound is different

As I swirl around and let the music wash over me
As I give thanks through Christ Jesus to God the Father

Tomorrow is another day
Today is a day to dance with the Lord
The Lord of justice and compassion
He has no favourite
So I will dance to sound of His music

Happy Friday and thank you for stopping by.
It means a lot to me that you are here today
Have a wonderful day and blessed weekend
Be present in all things

"We cannot change what happens around us but we can change our responses."
The flesh is weak, don't depend on it 🙂
This week was windy and rainy.
So imagine my surprise on Thursday to see the road blocked by a fallen tree.
Thank God no one was hurt
Only the poor car
Well can you imagine getting up seeing your car underneath the branches
Thank God for life and things in this world will fade

Praises –

12:

'“And now arise, O Lord God, and enter your resting place,
along with the Ark, the symbol of your power.
May your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation;
may your loyal servants rejoice in your goodness.'

2 Chronicles 6:41 NIV
Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

I stand and look at the earth
I see the herbs and the trees as they bear fruit
For You Lord, You made everything good

I will sing of all the wondrous things You have created
I will say to my soul
Why do you hide away when things don’t go right?
Why do you hide away when the Lord calls you?

For when the Lord calls it is out of Love
For we shall return to You Lord
For a thousand years in Your sight

Is like yesterday when it is past
You have set our iniquity before You
Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance

For the word You spoke became flesh
Among us, He dwell giving us Grace
Grace to come before You in boldness
For no more shame exists

The earth is Yours and everything in it
Wondrous works in the land as it bears fruits
Awesome things in the sea beyond our imagination
The birds in the air never lack anything

As children of God, we never lack anything
For You calm the storm
So that its waves are still
And guide us to a place of peace
So we will give thanks to the Lord for His goodness
And for His wonderful works to all

Thank you for stopping by
God bless you in your journey

Secure yourself to the amazing Father
and the Lord of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Walk in His promises for Your life
Write them down

Say them out loud to yourself or anyone who will listen

Glorify His name especially in the bad weathers
His promises are trustworthy all the time

'For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies,
but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,
against mighty powers in this dark world,
and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.'

Ephesians 6:12 NIV

Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wow, another week has started and I am delighted you can drop by.

Welcome to my vault, hope you had a good weekend? For me?…

It is another Monday, there is a desirable treasure that when found at a great price, you will hide it and then sell all you have just so you can have it. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

Come let us sit and talk. This is a surprise, my weekend was out partying at a house party. It was meant to be lunch, arrived at 12 and ended up being also a dinner. It was just great to sit and enjoy lunch and dinner with friends.

Sunday was amazing, why? It was the first time we sang together. We were allowed to sing in love and to worship God and Saviour of our Lord Jesus Christ in Psalms and Hymns.

Thought provoking sermon: Talked about the environment and knowing that God loves the environment. Going back to the beginning of Genesis 1. The simplicity of this chapter allows everyone that opens it to understand what the writer wants us to know. As far as the entire Bible is concerned, we must assume that God is there and He wants us to find Him, know Him and serve Him.

We cannot prove that He exists or not but we can hold on to the basic belief that God wants us to know Him and have faith in Him. Hebrews 11.

One of my favourite verse is John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He has a heart that feels,
He has a mind that thinks and can speak His thoughts.
He makes decisions and sticks to them.
What an awesome God with personality.
He is definitely not an it, without Him nothing was made.
He was not created but the Creator
God is a He and is a very personal God.

That was my take on the weekend. Relaxing and enjoying the present moment.

And also being aware of everything around me making sure I have my full armour on, sometimes I forget and the result can be fatal but I do have a merciful God who heals and corrects and guides.

Something I have come to learn about the armour of God: while you look at wearing it remember that it can be sabotaged by ourselves or the forces around us.

Cambriridge definition of Sabotage: Deliberately destroy, damage, or obstruct (something), especially for political or military advantage.

A way to be aware is Listening skills:

By forming a habit

  1. Knowing what to do which means being aware
  2. Knowing how to do it meaning skill
  3. Knowing why to do it meaning motivation

Why push the boat out and do things differently?

Why not carry on as normal?

All journeys need to have a start and an end. And to get to the end starts with a single step but that step has to be taken in the right  direction.

Fortunately for us we have so much research and commentators have given us compass bearing and maps.

This can lead to head bury

Sabotage can also come from self as well as around us

An Example of self – procrastination

James 4:14 – “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog – it’s here a little while, then it gone”

Well, I can safely say I sometimes take my hands outside the boat
or bury my head in the map.

What good does it do?

I don’t have long in this world
It is not my home

Yet I forget and be a fool
Don't want to be one, for one day
The fog will disappear like a thief in the night
When I least expect it
There will be no place to run

So I will lean not on my own understanding

But listen with the two ears
Focus on the Lord daily
Roll up my sleeves and do something with the talents given
Not brag about tomorrow
And above all remember the Lord in days of my youth
When I have the strength to do it and willing to do it

Be bless knowing that:

'So also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.'

Hebrews 9:28 NLT

Can I encourage you to enjoy the ride and to not be distracted easily.

Thank you for stopping by it means a lot to me.

Pray you have a wonderful week 🙂

And I also pray that this verse refreshes you this week:
'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '
Acts 20:24 NIV

Pleads!

'My people, what have I done to you?
How have I burdened you?
Answer me. '

Micah 6:3 NIV
By the River Thames and a created background. What a beautiful sunny day
'“O my people,
what have I done to you?
What have I done to make you tired of me?
Answer me!'

What a week, and looking at the words of God
What have I done to you?
Seeing it in the eyes of Jesus
No words can come out

The love He has for us
He is living and active
He is full of compassion
And has every right to punish us

Yet He ask the question!
How can I answer?
Can the clay tell it Master
How to create it?

Yet we seem to be masters of our destiny
We seem to the look the other way
We seem to have complaints
We seem to want to mould the clay

So I dare to ask myself?
Shall a clay tell it creator what shape is required
For no words are spoken
Until the clay porter gives it the mouth to speak

And our Master says
My sheep will hear my voice
I will never leave you nor forsake you
Yet I dare to utter words too good for me

So I reflect on the words of the Creator
I sit and look at the words and mediate
I will dwell in the land of the living
I will dwell in the present

As in the days of my youth
You protected me against the rebels
I will tell of Your wonders
You made me walk and the doctors
Has no words to say but you are lucky
And I know it wasn’t luck
It was the mighty hand of God
The healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ
My Healer and Protector

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me
Try my mind and my heart
For Your lovingkindness is before me
And I have walked in Your truth
The truth that is a light
That shows the way to freedom

It is in You I trust
Be my Rock of refuge
For words cannot answer Your questions
Things are too wonderful for me
For who am I to even look and answer
For I do not understand anything
I have heard You with my ears
And I come to You and repent
By the blood of Jesus Christ
Who is the First and the Last
The holder of the keys of Hades and of death
I repent!

I look to You only
I worship You Lord Jesus
For I do not fear death because You hold the key
You are the God of all
I love You, LORD
