Oh what a sight To look and behold the wild And commonly found wild flower They can withstand anything They tolerate the mowing, grazing and trampling They spring back to life Oh daisy, I love to look at your beauty The beauty in the day’s eyes For in the day when the sun Rises my eyes will behold unto you For at night I cannot see you Because you take a rest and close up So I will come and see your beauty in the daylight For you bring smile to my face Your persistent and widespread growth Brings joy to all who look at you You have been a joy to the children As they join the stalks together to make a beautiful chain or a headband Oh how when we grow up we forget the delight And so all we do is look and walk away Let my eyes always see the beauty The strong and persistent beauty The tolerant that you show You withstand all the trampling I close my eyes and I am in field Of daisies and I run and let the sun be on my face And my hands behold the beauty that is all around me Thank you for stopping by, stop and see the beauty around © Hannah Michaela Vandi
“neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:39 NIV
The Story continues….as my imagination runs wild, we see in the eyes of Folrose, Nwe Amiya and Athan. Welcome to the next part, series of short stories!
How are we going to get away with this, running as fast as little legs could carry her. Nwe is been nothing but trouble ever since meeting her, all the adventures they have done together as Florose taught. She continued to run and since leaving home life has been full of adventure.
Remembering the day that she decided to live the manor and venture into the world of humans. In the woods, as she spoke to her dear father and mother. I am going into the human world, looking at the two and in the hopes to be stopped. But they both spoke together, that is great honey. You will love it and make sure you come back in five years. What, and why? Looking at both for some explanation as to why there was a time limit to my stay in the human, as this genuinely puzzled me.
Why would I come back if I like it?
I didn’t want to come back and I certainly was not about to let them know this. I have studied these humans and they seem nice, how wrong was I. Chased by a mad man and woman with dogs and looking for a way to escape.
It has been five years today as I recall the promise made to my parents to go back, never thought I would disobey a direct order under these circumstances. Now I do wish I was in the land of peace and looking at the beautiful forest.
The beautiful forest was hidden from the world and everyone was free, we could see how the humans were destroying the land. It is parallel to ours and we have the forest and large trees, our houses are built on the trees, the flowers and the water falls on every corner to help sustain the plants.
A storm of rage and panic pushed into my chest as we came to the end of the line. Why are you doing this? Mind racing, and why follow me? I have nothing to give. As they both stopped, Amiya looked at me in silent curiosity for a moment, I have my reasons, I’m sorry Athan that you must suffer in this. It was not the plan and not my purpose but something has to be done.
