Hope you had a wonderful weekend, this weekend was, ehm, well it was focused on God. Should I say everyday should be. On Saturday we had a guest speaker – Ginny Burgin.
Her testimony and the worship songs, invoked my soul, challenged my thinking. We were very much focused on worshipping the Lord. I am not sure how I can explain it but the songs did not focus on me and that was a different experience. The songs focused on God, in the midst of glorifying the Lord, healing and peace is surrounding us.
Yes it was good to be in the company of others glorifying the Lord our God
It is always good to worship God by yourself in daily work of life and corporately as we meet on Sundays or any other day.

Come and welcome to the vault. Hope you enjoyed your weekend and it is always a joy when you stopped by. I was having a look around and thinking of the food we should eat. Things that help our digestion and also help to get rid of the unwanted stuff out of our systems.
Today, just looking at the facts about a high fibre diet
High fibre diets reduce calories while increasing fibre. It focuses on eating plenty of vegetables and whole grains which is in line with the government guidelines on healthy eating.
High-fibre foods also need a lot of chewing, which means you eat slowly and gives the body a chance to register when you are full before you overeat
People on high fibre diets need an increase in Iron because fibre also impairs their ability to absorb iron from food
If possible leave the skin on fruit to maximise fibre intake.
Fibre also helps keep the gut healthy by bulking out and softening your stool and reducing the time it takes to pass through the bowel. This can reduce constipation
However, if your water intake is not increased then it can cause short-term constipation.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who
are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh,
but according to the SpiritRomans 8:1

Samson and Delilah:
It one of the Judges that I knew as a child and also possible my favourite
I see ones foolishness of walking alone and with no counsel
Alone you are vulnerable and you cannot see the blindspots
Samson had a blindspot like us
Two are better than one
In midst of many blindspot
One can help the other
Though one may be overpowered
Though one may be overshadowed
Two can withstand the schemes of the enemy
Two can empower each other
Threefold cord is not so easily broken
I know that whatever God says He is going to do
He will do it
And so I turn to myself to consider the wisdom and madness and folly
For what can we do if not learn from the mistakes we do or see
The world is full of madness
Then I saw that it is better to have wisdom and be consider a fool to the world
Than to be a fool that walks in darkness
Yet I myself perceived that the event happens to all
My soul as it happens to the fool
It also happens to us
All this is vanity
So I listened to Samson and wondered why?
That is not the question to ask, he says!
Follow me, for we do things that we don’t want to do

For what I am doing, I do not understand.

The words of Paul in Romans echoes in my heart and a different lens is put on.

The folly of the woman continues
She insists on love yet she doesn’t
Today hear the voice of the Lord

But she does it to lead you into further darkness
Do not walk past her for all she wants is your life

Like a lion ready to devour its prey

And gain knowledge in His presence
Wisdom calls and understanding is only
found in the house of Lord
Samson could run
He knew what she was like
But he didn't
because God had a different plan
God always has a different plan to ours
For His ways are not ours
and whatever the enemy meant for evil
God uses for good
Because the light is far better than darkness
Thank the Lord Jesus for showing us that we can put to death the flesh
Because of His righteousness
Thank the Lord Jesus for His compassion that when we do walk in the flesh
We are corrected and not condemn
Because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead
Is the same Spirit that lives in us giving us life
Giving us the peace that one cannot understand or fathom
It is never too late with the Lord
As long as there's life then forgiveness is closer than we think
So I know that I have no debt to my flesh
To walk in the flesh
For I am a daughter of the Lord
O LORD GOD, remember me, I pray!
Strengthen me, I pray
Just this once, O GOD

Hi and welcome! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. WOW it is June already and it has been a while since I visited the vault. Come, let’s sit and I will give you a snap of the weekend. It was a four day weekend as we celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee. Seventy years in service, I don’t know about you but seventy years in one job has got me the hives. God bless and protect The Queen.
I enjoyed the weekend, watched the planes and walked around the streets of London enjoying the festival spirit and we were blessed with no rain. Rain is a blessing to us but I was glad we celebrated with no umbrella or raincoats.
What a weekend it was!
In the early hours of Saturday morning, I hear the sound of music playing as I woke up.
Just as my eyes open all manner of thoughts start to formulate
Learning to live the life I was created and guess what the enemy is around.
So I let my head ponder the path of my feet and surrender to the will of God to establish my day.
And so I lay my head down and listen as SILENT enters the room
Willing myself to just be in the moment enjoying the SILENCE
It was deafening and welcomed
SILENT yet the fear of the future comes
SILENT yet the Lord is my strong Tower
For He knows all my plans
He knows my thoughts before
It registers in my mind
He is the Lord of peace
He is the Lord that gives HOPE
He is the ONLY one that knows my future
And makes sure that I walk in that path
SILENT even when unwanted thoughts comes to over take
The Lord is my Rock
I will cry out to Him
He will not be silent to me
For He is my Salvation
SILENT who made the Heavens and Earth
Our Father, The Creator of the universe
All other things in the world are worthless
Their works are nothing
They are nothing but a wind and confusion
To change the path of the righteous
SILENT let all listen to the voice of the Lord
For in His presence we have freedom
Take time out to LISTEN
For God is speaking are we listening
