“Treasure Trove of Information”

'He made His wonders memorable.
Adonai is gracious and full of compassion. '

Psalms 111:4 TLV
Looking at different angles of light: Burgess Park, Southwark, London

Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening and what a beautiful day.

A day to give thanks to the Almighty God

A day to sit at the feet of Jesus and know that He is Lord

Good to see you and Happy to walk with you today. The Vault calls and sometimes the treasures are best to look at, absorbed, pondered and give a testimony of the goodness.

In Church we continued our series on Revelation: The Lord always gives fresh manna

As I reflect on His words and knowing that

He sees each and everyone of us
He compliments our work
He gives us encouraging words
He gives us warning to change and the words that I seem to see is

Revelation 2:29 NKJV: He who has an ear, let Him hear what the Spirit says to the churches

The choices and Grace given to us everyday.

Grace is given to us each day
Grace is not earned
Grace is enough for today

With Grace comes energy to move
The ability to think
The time to prepare,
The resources to work in life
The patience we need in that time
Grace is always enough to spare for others and yourself on that day

What a wonderful God we serve!
Grace always comes with extra on the day
Because the God we serve is generous and gives us more than enough

Choosing to abide in God
Choosing Jesus means having the right attitude

Having Grace in our lives means having lots of rooms
No matter how the rooms look or feel
should never deter us from entering
With generosity and thankfulness
And also sharing and bringing the light into the room
Not complaining and disputing
But holding fast to the Word of life

We have a good reason to be glad and to rejoice
Encouraging one another in the Lord
Seeking the things which are of Christ Jesus, forsaking oneself

Grace gives us a reason

For we are all God’s workmanship
All things are gifts from the Father

Rejoice, He is generous and not partial
We all have a purpose and reason to be alive
Do not tempt the Lord as some did
And killed by the poisonous serpents

As I reflect and ponder and absorb
I have come to understand

How easy it is to take things for granted
How easy it is to just complain

Also I have come to see that
complaining makes us age faster

Does it change the situation?

Well in my opinion, it gives
Gray hair and unnecessary stress - just my theory

So the words of our Lord
Written in my hearts and reminds me
Do not be afraid
I am the First and the Last

May these words echo in my brain
May these words become part of my heart
When I am afraid
I will remember Your words
Lord Jesus, give me a new heart
And a spirit that follows You
Thank you for stopping by it means a lot to me.

'However,
I consider my life worth nothing to me;
my only aim is to finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has given
me—the task of testifying to the
good news of God’s grace. '

“Treasure Trove of Information”

DO NOT fret because of evildoers
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass
And wither as green herb

Trust in the LORD, and do good
Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness
Delight yourself also in the LORD
And He shall give you the desires of your heart

PSALM 37:1-4

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour

Happy that you stopped by, and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Happy you walked into the vault with me today, for we are the salt of the earth and imagine no taste in your food.

Well I like a little bit of salt, too much of it you don’t want it anymore, too little you never taste anything.

We need to be the right amount, and that can only happen when we carry the lamp with us.

Life is a paradox and in all things we let it shine to glorify God or be miserable in our own small box.

Happy and blessed

What does it mean to be happy?

Yesterday I was with the youth team and went trampoline. We all had so much fun. Playing around and falling into the sponges. Playing dodgeball and just laughing our heads off.

We are all children of God and get carried away with the troubles of the world. Trouble will always come. It is inevitable!

Sometimes we have some plans in our head but the Lord has something different.

He guides our footsteps
He watches our every move
He is a God not to be put in my little handbag
He is not a genie to make a wish with
He is GOD, the Almighty, the ALL Powerful

He likes to get us away from those imaginary boxes we like to make for ourselves
Well sometimes I love to and sometimes I don’t
You can always see the wisdom in His madness

Back to the tampoline: The different yet fun way to relax and be a child for ones.

It was so great to see all them having so much fun and jumping up and down.

Just looking at each of them running around with joy in there heart and no care in the world just living that moment

We are called to be children at heart

Be intentional about everything
No one gets hurts on a roller coaster
unless they jump off or mechanical failure

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

– Albert Schweitzer

Sometimes a smile from us brings life into a stranger.

What does it mean to be Happy?

Definitions of Happy according to cambridge dictionary

feeling, showing, or causing pleasure or satisfaction:

Happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can’t help but smile. It’s the opposite of sadness. Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment.

Happy is an adjective that emphasizes a pleasant ending or something that happens at just the right moment:

synonyms for happy:

  • cheerful.
  • contented.
  • delighted.
  • ecstatic.
  • elated.
  • joyous.
  • overjoyed.
  • Pleased.

What is another word happy?

  • blissful,
  • delighted,
  • glad,
  • Joyful – the joy of the Lord is your strength
  • joyous,
  • jubilant,
  • rejoicing,
  • tickled.

No one ever complained about feeling too much happiness.

Does being happy mean you lie when you are not?

I would certainly hope not.

What will be the point?

God’s happiness means outside our boxes

The boxes of self: Self indulgences

Jesus shows us what it means to be Happy and Blessed

Happy, to be envied with spiritual prosperous

With life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favour and salvation, regardless of the outward conditions

See Matthew 5: 1 - 12: The Beatitudes in the Kingdom of God (paraphrase)

Happy …

The poor in Spirit … the kingdom is theirs
The ones who mourn… they will be comforted
The meek… they will inherit the earth

Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness… they will be filled

The merciful… they shall obtain mercy
The pure in heart… they shall see God
The peacemakers… they shall be called sons of God

Those who are persecuted for righteousness sake… theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

And it ends with:
When they revile and persecute you, and say all sort of evil against you falsely for MY sake
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, why? Great is your reward in Heaven...

We should never forget we are in charge of our reactions
We always have a choice to how we respond to the circumstances the world throws at us.

For His sake, not because I am in a mood and have an attitude over little things
That does not count

I do love Peter in the Bible, Jesus walks on water

All the disciples saw Jesus walking and Peter choose to step out of the boat

Not all will say I got to walk on water

Well I love that because for that minute or two Peter was happy to walk on water

Then he looked around and notice the water

His focus changed from Jesus to the water

His happiness was gone and he was drowning

But before he sank deep

The Lord was with him

So happiness is focusing on Jesus
Walking on water and yes the world will throw shades at me
The world will come with it storms

My eyes will move
My eyes will look around
My eyes will close and rest

But my heart will focus on the Lord

Because I know he owns my future
Because I know He will never let me drown
Because I know He walks with me

And in my theme to glorify the Lord as I look into the Book of Revelation:

Oh what a happy and glorious day
When the Lord will come back for His brides

Oh happy I am that my Teacher is the Lord
For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge

Oh Happy I am that my God created the Heavens
For it is His throne as He watches over His children

Oh Happy I am that the Lord walks in the garden
For He prunes all to His standard

Oh Happy I am that our Father is Holy
For in His Son we are made perfect

Today, if you hear the voice of the Lord
Do not harden your heart, but be Happy that He speaks to all

Another Day of Thanksgiving!

Everyone LOOK!
Come and see the breathtaking
wonders of our God
For He brings both ruin and revival.
He's the one who makes conflicts end
throughout the earth,
breaking and burning
every weapon of war

Psalms 46:8-9 TPT
How shall we sing the Lord's song
For it is good to sing praises to our God
For it is pleasant and Praise is beautiful

O Praise the Lord!
For His Mercy endures forever
Blessed be the Lord God Almighty

He created all creatures
Come and see the sky that shows the beauty
The beauty that is beyond words, that makes you breathless

Let us come before the Almighty in awe and wonder
Without electricity or gas, we have no fire
Without gossip we have love for one another

What a wonderful God we serve
Create in us a clean heart O God
To see Your glory and to reflect Your goodness

Lord You have created the wise, so we see the world
Thank You God for the people that brings wisdom to us all
Thank You that they listen to You and share the Good news

To bring the body closer to You and glorify Your name
Thank You Lord that through Your wisdom a house is built
And our foundation is in You only

Thank You Father for the friendship we build along the way
For it is in this that when one is less able
We have others to help in need

For a friend loves at all times
And a brother is born in adversity
Thank You for the body of Christ

That each part has a purpose
And each part is different to help each other
when in need we call upon Your Name

Oh give thanks to the Lord
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
He is the Lord our God

Blessed be His name
Praise the Lord!
Sing to Him a new song

'A psalm of David. Adonai , who may dwell in Your tent? Who may live on Your holy mountain? The one who walks with integrity, who does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart, '

Psalms 15:1-2 TLV

Good Morning or afternoon or evening. You are welcomed doesn’t matter the time.

Hope and pray you had a good Easter, the celebration of Christ Jesus, He is RISEN! Now that is good news. I learned something about the Easter egg to look at it from a different point, eggs represent a new life and so does Easter for all. It is not in the Bible but sure like the idea of new life, new hope and knowing that this is not it but life doesn’t end on earth, wow what a glorious day that will be. Praise be to the Father, Jesus Chirst and the Holy Spirit for walking with us in this journey.

Come with me, yes if this your first time then you should know. Life is a story and you can make it fun or miserable. The choice is yours.

Come let us sit in the vault of treasure today.

Thank you for stopping by, please note that this is information only. So I reflect on the way we process food and the different ways they are made. So today I look at Fermentation:

What is Fermentation?

Fermentation is used everywhere in the world, throughout history, it is simply the form of food preservation that does not require any heat or artificial energy source.

With no oxygen, microbes (or microorganism is a microscopic organism which may exist in a single-celled form or a colony cells) can convert sugars into acids, alcohol and gas

Why do we ferment foods?

Fermentation in food processing – converting carbohydrates to alcohol or organic acids using microorganisms – yeasts or bacteria under anaerobic conditions

Fermentation microbes are often the same as the ones found in the gut, so eating fermented food can be a way to top up the gut flora.

Fermentation are not only used to preserve foods but Ferment foods are used because they serve:

  1. To enrich the diet through development of a diversity of flavours, aromas and textures in food substrates
  1. To preserve substantial amounts of food through lattice acid, alcohol, acetic acid and alkaline fermentations
  1.  To enrich food substrates with protein, essential amino acids and vitamins
  1. To eliminate anti nutrients
  1. To reduce cooking time and the associated use of fuel

Some of foods that are Fermented:

Different methods of fermentation are used in breadmaking, alcoholic drinks and vinegar production, making yogurts and cheeses; pickling fruits and vegetables, curing meats; making soy and fish sauces; softening olives and removing bitterness and the production of chocolate from cocoa beans

Fermented milk:

Milk has a very short shelf-life but when fermented can last for months. This range from yogurt fermented for a few hours to large cheeses prepared over many months.

Fermented soya

Soya beans have high levels of protein and oil which is extracted as a kind of milk. Fermented soya also produce diverse outcome similar to milk such as miso paste used in soups and seasoning to tempeh which is a cultural soya bean cake

Fermented cucumber

Cucumbers are turned into pickles using lattice acid bacteria and brine with five to eight percent salt concentrated

Thank you for stopping by it means a lot to me.

I Surrender

My heart, O God, is focused and determined.
Now I can sing my song with passionate praise!
Awake, O my soul, with the music of His splendour
Psalms 108:1
I do love You Lord
What is man that You should be mindful off
You are the giver of gifts

I am ready, so ready to praise Your name
From head to toe, will I dance and sing a song to Your name
As I sit in awe and wonder of the creation of the world

You bring Joy to my heart, So I surrender to You
Your mercy are new everyday
Wake, soul, wake up my feet, wake up my body

Let us sing praises to our God
And dance to His glorious name
The deeper His Love the higher it goes

Lord Today, I seek You
Only two things I ask of You
Do not withdraw Your hand from me or turn away from me

For You know my heart, You know me and I cannot hide from You
Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a right spirit with me
Take away any false humility or pride that does not give You any glory

I pray to You my God and Saviour
For it is You that give all good things
Let me be gracious in receiving

I surrender to You Father
Through the One and only Saviour
