My Precious SHOE!

Every Scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit,
the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction,
giving you the strength to take the right direction
and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.
2 Timothy 3:16 TPT
The Bible, I have come to LOVE
It is not like the shoes I buy
where I wore it once and never again

It has become my everyday shoe
It is the shoe that never wears out
No matter how many times I use it

The sole is always brand NEW
The design is top of the MARKET
It is Priceless and fits every OCCASION

It goes with all my outfits
It goes with all my emotions
It is a lamp that lights my path

It teaches me where to step
It shows me what love is
It shows me that flaws are accepted and loved

It calls me to come as I am
It calls me to drink from the water of life
It gives me the courage

The more I stay with it
The more strength I get
The braver I become

Yes I do love the Bible
Yes it has become my nugget of information
Yes it is sharper than any sword

Guess what- WHAT? I can never stop reading it
Guess what- WHAT? Did you know it is the one BOOK that the magic is real
Guess what- WHAT? It is the one BOOK that gives me practical advice

I have the Holy Spirit to help me
I have the help of the church- the body
I have the benefit of reason - my mind

The Bible help me to get closer to GOD
Leading me to know who JESUS is
Allowing the Holy Spirit to help me and guide me

Yes it is not like any shoe
But a very precious shoe
It has given me a heart transplant because

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Thank You Father that You cared for me
You look out for me always.

Thank you for stopping by. May the Spirit cause this season to bring comfort, assurance and gladness as you go about your day. In Jesus Name, Amen.

ADVENT – Little things matters

You will live in joy and peace.
The mountains and hills will burst into song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands!
Isaiah 55:12 NLT

Www p5K - Day 15

Who would have taught
I will still be doing this,
I didn't and it is day fifteen
I did not think I will be but then I love challenges

Which is why I said YES
I must tell you something, come closer
I enjoy looking around and noticing the trees
And stopping to smell the flowers

Well actually it's looking at the birds and hear them sing
You must try it and the best part is
Walking but with no headphones on
It feels like a little treat for myself

And I think I hear a lot better these days
It is always good to find a way to be kind to myself
Giving little gifts and thanking God and appreciate what I have
I cannot give what I don’t have

This Advent has made me release that
Little things matter to God
And He wants me to appreciate it
Enjoy the people around me and

Give what I have to others
Be it money or talk or smile
Love others as He loves me.
For He has given us His Son

Jesus the name above any other name
At the whisper of that name all demons bow
He is worthy of praise
Thank You Father for as Your ways

Are higher than mine
So are Your thoughts than my taughts
I will listen to You
You know what is best for me

Help me to hear Your voice only
And to walk with You daily
In the Name of Jesus Christ
Amen.

God is our Teacher!

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine
and puts them into practice is like a wise
man who built his house on the rock.
Matthew 7:24 NIV

Portsmouth, U.K.
Our Heavenly Father
You are the King of Kings
The Lord of Lord and the Great God
You sent Your Son Jesus to not only chose us
But to show us the way

Lord You have taught us how to pray
Very simple and effective daily prayer
A Prayer that brings Your Kingdom into our focus
A Prayer that focuses on what matters to You

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I wonder around the path because I am not focus on You
Walking further away I go
Don’t know what is pulling me away
Sometimes I know what makes me take my eyes away from You

As I looked at my hand
I saw that You have always been there
I just could not see You
The distractions, the tears and self doubt was covering my eyes

And then you prompted me to Pray
Don’t lean on your understanding for that will lead you
Further into the darkness
You must master it and focus on the truth

Then I looked on the inside and said to myself
Don’t be discouraged, don’t be stress
For I fully expect my Saviour and God
To lead us to the truth

Then I will have plenty of reason to praise Him

So I stepped back on the road
And all of a sudden my mind start to think
What truth are we looking for
The truth that is right in front of us

The truth that sets us free
The truth that came to the world
The truth that wash all our sins away
The truth that is the way to life everlasting
The truth that knows all the flaws and still accept us
That truth is what we have to hold on to

So I pray and then start to understand
Your ways are not my ways
And sometimes it might seem like eternity for an answer
Then you say be patience and that my God
I need Your strength and endurance

For patience seems like the word that triggers
Triggers self doubts and second-guess
Lord Jesus thank You for showing me that patience
Brings glory to our God and Father

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and be blessed.

Freedom

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 NIV

Walking along the South Bank, London. Love the different shades of colour

Freedom is something that is given to us by God through Christ Jesus, no ONE has any right to take that away from anyone. It also comes with a cost, thousands of men and women have sacrificed their lives to guarantee freedom. With the theme of Healthy Mindset, here is a Psalm on been free

God is a God that gives freedom
He gave us breathe so we can be free
We only have one rule

We broke the rule and listen to the wrong voice
That voice says freedom is
Throwing off the restraint and doing your own thing

That freedom leads to bondage and chains
True freedom comes from obeying God
He sent His son to show us what it means to be free

Lord Jesus thank You for giving us the Freedom
To know who we are
Thank You for partnering  with us

Knowing that when when we walk in darkness
You bring light and
Cast the shadow behind us

In the midst of all the pandemic
We will Praise and Worship You
For You bring healing to our minds

Thank You for choosing us
In You we have our Freedom
Freedom to know we are a child of God

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

Thank You for reading. Have a wonderful day.

The Shield

As we go through these tough times, be reminded that God is our Shield and Reward, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Hold on to it and be encouraged that it will end.

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. ”

Genesis 15:1 NIV
He is the Shield
The Shield that surrounds us
Even when we are not holding on

The Shield is a consuming fire
That burns everything in its path
That lights up every darkness

The shield projects Love
And all we need is to accept it
This Love cannot be contained

The Shield brings joy, peace as you hold on to it
You cannot understand it
Nor can you fathom it

The Shield gives choices
A choice to hold on or let go
And He gives strength to all

When things get tough or hard
Be sure to put the Shield up
The Shield bought us a Saviour

Trust The Shield
Guard your heart
He is your only reward

When you experience disappointments He walks you through the dark valley and invites you into a life of Joy. Be blessed
