“Stretch one’s leg” – see the treasure

As I walk and gaze at 
the beauty of God's creation
The treasure of having You Jesus and I will sell everything

Thank You Father,
Blessed be Your name
I sing to Him a new song

Walking in the cold of the evening
Thinking: you never know what treasures lie on the ground
One man's treasure can be another man's trash

As I Stand and enjoy the view
Out of the corner of my eye something moved, took the phone out
To get a closer look and risk to my fingers

For it was cold and zoom right in
only to see a man moving and very focused
taking a picture and as I turned to leave gave one looked back at him

Now I want to be that focus on You Lord
Not seeing the distraction around me
Eyes on You only

As I walked back
in the cold of the night
thoughts drifted away in awe and wonder

He is the Lord our God
Glory to His name
Make known His deeds among the peoples

Seek the Lord and His strength
Seek His face evermore!
Remember His marvelous works which He has done

Remember His mercy and forgiveness
In Christ Jesus we are made whole
Let us sing and praise His Holy Name.

WALK – Two are better than one

Www p5K - Day 11
Thank God it is the weekend.
Again, on the earth I saw something else that has no purpose.

It was not a raining day as I step outside
Meeting a friend for a long walk
So mentally preparing for the walk
and also the restaurants eating

Mask, checked and off I go
Wow I have not seen her since March in person
Hey standing looking at each other very awkward 
Do we hug or do we not?

So we decided to smile and start walking
Time went by so quickly and our feet were tired after two hours
This is what happens when two women start to talk 
We lost track of time

So we decided to have dinner looking around
for a suitable place to eat and also a quiet place to chat
Not surprise it was not busy in the City of London
and the lights did not give the Christmas warmth

The town does not feel like Christmas
It felt grey and cloudy
This is like Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West
came and took the green lights with her

I can only see the red lights and they are on
The fun has stopped with only the red lights
But hang on a moment 
There is joy for we have the Son of Man

Who is the light of the world 
He is the First and the Last 
He is the living one
Who was dead and now alive forever and ever

And guess what there is more good news 
He holds the keys of death and the grave
This year is the right time to celebrate 
What He came to do and fulfill

Glory to God in the highest
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!


Www p5K - Day 12

Thank You Father for another day
Blessed is the Lord God
That He has looked on His servant and shown mercy

He has sent Jesus 
To give lights to those who sit in darkness
To guide our feet into the way of peace

The day is over and glory to the Almighty God.
If He wills, I shall see you tomorrow
In the mean time...

A La Carte – Haz, Resturants


Main – Had Grilled Salmon Fillet, served with Chilli and a Salad of Heritage
Tomatoes, Pickles, Green Kalamata Olives and Toasted Walnuts very tasty – would recommend

Desert – Sun dried apricot stuffed with almond, pistachio and cream. Be warn it is creamy if you looking to lose weight and also not eating sugar then avoid it. Otherwise it was delicious

Prosecco – The chating and walking was what made the evening enjoyable.

Also not a word on COVID19 it was a silent agreement.

Walk – a way to refocus

It is a good thing the Bible 
Never says If you feel like it...
I might not feel like talking  
But God’s word always stands

God, You are 
The King of Kings 
and The Lord of Lords
Jesus, You are 
worthy to be praise

Monday, with a new found realisation 
What the enemy taught for evil 
God will use it for the good of those 
who love Him.

The weather is very cold today
Definitely not a day to go out for a walk
As I walked, it became a revelation 
To me why I spend every free time walking
It is therapy to me, everyone finds different ways 
To cope with this pandemic 
Mine was or is walking 

Since the lockdown
Not a single day have I stayed inside the house 
without stepping outside the front door
I have come to release that 
It takes me away from the house 

And work environment 
And the funeral environment
And the laughter with friends environment
And the Bible school environment
And the Church environment
The House has become every envirnoment

Walking has..
 
made me appreciate what I have
The people around me 
And most importantly God

It clears my head...

Lord I thank You for always encouraging me
To step outside the house 
And get fresh air
You have given me beauty for ashes
The oil of Joy for mourning
The garment of praise for the Spirit 
of heaveniness
I will greatly rejoice in You 
Lord

Venture into the raining outdoors

God is wonderful and His Love
endures forever.
Wow, today is a raining day 
Not a day to do long walk 
or be outside 
But I sooo love the outdoor walks

As I put on the rain coat stepped out 
The rain stopped 
This is good 
As I continued walking 

Oh no not good,because it starts to pour down
There is something about walking under the rain
Or sleeping and hearing the sound.

Todays walk was to hear the sounds outside
No headphones just the sound from outside 
Apparently it is good for me to just be aware 
So I was, when you listen 
You can hear the birds 
The different car sounds 
The loud motorcyclist 
The youth walking home from school and laughing

You hear so clearly and not to forget 
The thoughts in my head
Well today I love rain 
Crazy, yes, it is showers of blessings 
It brings life to the plants 
Gives us water 

This walking in the rain was extremely fun
No one around in the park as I walk
Because they are not as crazy as I am and 
prefer the dry and warm indoors 
not even the pigeons could brave it outside

Will see how the day goes tomorrow 
For now, good bye and
